For what its worth, have heard similiar things about Pagan being unpopular from a relaative of a much whipped former player.

I always took it as bad blood given the players status, but there might be more there

This my friends is an example of how untruths get spread around clubs.

Not knocking the poster in question. Plenty of people do it. Get told something. Try to relay it. Chinese whispers happen and before you know it a new 'truth' is out there.

Always be skeptical of everything you hear and read, unless it is first hand. Even then you are only getting at most half the story.
The Mulder is strong in this one...

I get sucked in a little bit by the rumours, a lot of them are hard to prove so we can't really know, eg ms3 trade rumours, not all happen but it doesn't mean it wasn't in the works/ trying to get done.

Say the big footy ratio is 1:5 correct rumours, you still always hear it first on here.

Haven't seen anything near a 'Bluemour discussion' post in pages. MM did this, the board did that...We've all read the same thing a thousand times and we all have our own opinions, so can we please put this talk in a coach and board thread so the rest of us who are Sick and Tired of the same Malthouse vs Board argument.

Discussions evolve from rumours. The reason we have a Bluemour file and a Bluemour Discussion thread is so rumours can be readily identified and the discussion thread can expand on things arising from discussions arising from rumours. The old rumour file used to fill up with unrelated discussion and a lot of posters did not want that censored. We made the two threads so the posters who didn't like wading through discussion looking for rumours could readily identify them. We copped it from the 'too much moderating' posters and copped it from the 'not enough moderating' posters.

There is very little new under the sun so posters have to learn to ignore stuff they don't want to read. There may be some who are interested in the topic and the notion that we all have our own opinions is the reason forums exist, to discuss those opinions.

The Malthouse thread is closed but we'll look at it and decide if a shift to a board thread is necessary.

Search #blumour for any rumours in this thread that you might want to pursue.

I'm don't have a issue with rumours being discussed or seaching through pages to find one, I'd avoid this thread like I did the Malthouse thread, which these last 10 odd pages have been eerily similar to.

I believe this discussion was started by someone mentioning 'Ang didn't like Pagan'.....which led to the 'players that didn't like Malthouse', which went to 'the board is **** and incompetent'....and so on. I get that discussions can go anywhere but am just so sick of this 'coach vs board' crap rehashed over and over but when the it starts going back to Ratten, Pagan and Brittain, it's no longer about blumour's just opinions of who ****** up.

Sounds as though you need a rumour PuffDragon89

We went very hard for Hoskin-Elliot but he rejected our advances.

I hear what you're saying. The Malthouse thread was closed because it turned to crap so now the same thing works its way into every other thread.

Can we just open an all out hate thread called 'Coaches vs Board: Who's ruining our club?'...??!! That is the true argument imo, it seeps into every thread as you said but with it's own thread it'll minimise pages upon pages of it.

No offence but at least pertains to football and the club.

There's plenty of crap that goes around these boards that can be handled by talking to one another direct.

Point taken, but that doesn't mean that what I've said here is invalid. Perhaps if there was still a dedicated thread to Mick and the board it would mean that people who don't want to read about it going around and around in circles don't have to...and those who don't want to read what I have to say can always put me on ignore.

We've been told that people don't mind interaction that's not strictly football related on the boards, so I don't censor myself. If people tell me otherwise than I will.
