Would you consider Cyril an A grade player? Because realistically on skill and talent alone, Yarran would own Cyril... if he was in a better side than ours at the moment. At present, I would actually rate Yazz overall as either a B+ to A- player at Carlton with flashes of being an A grader, but slot him into a team like Hawthorn where he is surrounded by very good players, and he would pretty much instantly rocket into the realms of an A grade player consistently.

As for Priddis, he is a firm B grade player for the weagles which means that in a bottom 8 side, he would be considered an A grader.

Yarran would own Cyril? I'll have some of what your on...

I don't consider Matt Priddis an A Grader and he won a Brownlow (possibly even two)

I honestly find it difficult to quantify Yarran's value, but I do know he ain't in the same class as the A Graders I mentioned.

Off topic but on what planet is Priddis not an a-grader? Sure, he's no Fyfe or Ablett but a b-grader? By that assessment there are no a-graders on the Carlton list. That guy gets zero respect.

Priddis is a very good player IMO... he is the grunt in the weagles engine room... but to someone like DVB, he only qualifies as a B grader.

He only looks like a B at the Eagles because they are very even across the board.

Doesn't make it right, just the way they work. Master manipulators. Bring in a draft to even up the comp, manipulate said draft to their own liking. Look what they did to Sydney. Look what they did to the priority pick rule in 2006 when, funnily enough, we were going to benefit again.
