If the choices are keep Yarran (a motivated and inspired one preferably) or get a 2nd rounder...
Well I think that is obvious

I think he did his best work on the half back flank. Yarran was the perfect weapon for beating a zone defence, and they're making a bit of a comebackHopefully he plays forward if he stays!
If we convince him to stay do we extend he's contract now as well or risk losing him at the end of next season ??
Yeah tried them, loved them initially but have gone off them a bit of recent times, pork rashers/ribs have replaced them now !!They're a must when you're having a BBQ. And have you tried dim sims on the BBQ?

I think he can be turned around.

After the flak we have received in the media about us giving away our talented players I think the club would be reconsidering moving on any more talent for peanuts. I think if we get a really deal for Yarran he will be traded otherwise he stays and we work on turning him around.i'd rather keep Yarran than get a second rounder for him tbh
I hope we are into Lennon's ear at the moment, we should be. Time to turn the tables on these vultures and start poaching some of theirs. How funny if we can keep Yazz, after Richmond's secret meetings in season with him, and still pinch Lennon off them.
Yeah, coz everyone else was so great this season. How did he bail on his team mates? To me seems like he lost all his best mates at the club and struggled with form and injury. Not to mention his other personal issues. Now some of you think we should be giving yaz a contract extension. WTF. He basically bailed on his team mates this past season and as a reward have a couple more years.
I am staggered at this thought process and irresponsible list management.
Forever hoping that someone MIGHT turn it around is the worst possible way to build a list. For example Liam Jones, Brendan Fevola. We shoot ourselves in the foot time and time again. We might as well offer Watts a 5 year deal because he MIGHT turn it around and play like a 1st pick.
Staggering.

Did you watch a game? AFL is a team game and it requires effort to be a team player. If you don't put in that effort you are letting your teammates down. Therefore he bailed on his teammates.
Yep. Pick 11 would be plenty. And as an added bonus - if Yarran is open to staying, Richmond may have to really up their offer if they want him. Would we give him up for pick 11 and a fringe player if they got desperate?

I know he is contracted for 2015. But some on here have posed the question of "should we give him a contract extension now so we don't lose him next year"?He had one terrible year. He is contracted for next year.
We are not forever hoping he turns it around. We want him to turn around his 2015 form.
Shouldn't be offered a contract unless we see a change of attitude though. Start looking at it around May next year.
I can tell you for a fact that Lennon is unhappy with his lack of game time this year and getting dropped for the final.I hope we are into Lennon's ear at the moment, we should be. Time to turn the tables on these vultures and start poaching some of theirs.

Yarran is contracted .
The heat is all on Richmond after Sunday .
Last year they brought in nothing , can see their supporters getting pretty restless this trade period .
Let's play cards tigers ...
Our list inactivity at the end of '11 was costly imo
