10 goals up on Essendon at half time. They play Gold Coast next week and finish with Saints minus Riewoldt. They will likely end up on 13 wins with a decent %.
They have slowly regained their best 22 with a couple more to come back. They could finish as high as 7th if other results go their way. It's come together well for them on the home straight and they are looking alright with some finals experience already under their belt.
Thoughts?

If and that's a big if right now. If we make the finals - providing Jamison comes back I don't see anyone stopping us. We will miss Laidler and Henderson hugely though.

More delusions, better stay off the medication.

Just how are you going to make the eight, if Freo beat both Richmond and Melbourne?

North are already a lock with a game against GWS to come.

The win should be a given but it may come down to %.
If the Blues spank GC next week then we may need to the same against GWS if we are beaten comfortably by Pies and Freo.

Heading for 8th at best. Would mean a final against the Eagles at Subi. Would be similar to the elimination final last year with them playing the roles of Essendon.
Wouldn't be so sure about that. They almost pinched a cut throat final over there last year.

The final margin was so important, excellent that we didn't take the foot off the pedal. Cheering so hard for the Tiges tomorrow!

This Freo-Richmond game is massive. If the Tigers can get a win it throws the whole thing wide open!

It's Fremantle's spot to lose. Assuming they win today, if they beat North at Etihad (tough ask, but they've got to be a chance), it pretty much locks it up for them. Even if Freo loses to Richmond or North, Carlton still has to beat St Kilda (presumably with Riewoldt back) to give themselves a chance.

They're playing in about 5 minutes

Blues % just went from 105.1 up to 110.5 with that flogging.
They are currently 8th on the ladder now before the Freo game.
Lowest they can drop to is 9th if Freo win.

U reckon Rooey will play?

I agree that Carlton are a good side, and that with a full side, they're top four worthy. However, even with a full side, I see sides like Sydney and Hawthorn having them covered. Sydney beat them last week sans Judd, and most likely, if Carlton did have to face the likes of Sydney, it'd be in Sydney. I know that Carlton beat Collingwood twice this year, but in a final, I favour Collingwood, especially with their full list back in.

Why not? He wasn't ruled out for this week's game until Thursday, so maybe he misses another one, but I figure he'll be in the side for Round 23, particularly since, if results go to script, they'll still be a mathematical chance to make the eight at that stage (assuming Carlton/Fremantle are 12-9 and St Kilda/Essendon are 11-10). So they're not going to put the cue in the rack, if there's any way he can play...in fact, probably the opposite. Of course, I'm not a physio.
