FFS - are Carlton supporters now claiming they will win the flag? :D
No. One supporter does not represent all of us, no matter how good it looks when you post it.

No they're not. One guy made a dumb post.

By applying his one post to the whole supporter base, you've ensured your post is the second stupidest on this thread. Behind his.

Chill out. He didn't apply it to the whole supporter base. He just said "Carlton supporters". That could be 2, 3, 100, or 10'00.

Anyway I think Freo are going to keep them out. But they were impressive today. They played extremely well against us and everyone was like "Sydney didn't beat em by enough." but they were good.

Our best chance is freo losing to north next week and us beating saints and gc by enough to beat freo by %

Freo losing today would be a massive help but they look good atm

I don't like putting toouch thought into it though, if we beat port earlier in the year and a couple other should've won games and it's not an issue. Need to finish season strong and if we make it we make it

I don't give a clacker - if we make the eight we are going to be hard to stop close to unstoppable - shoot me clowns

It could now be a race between Freo and Carlton for that last spot. Carlton would have to scrape in on percentage, as I can't see Freo losing to Richmond today, or Melbourne in round 23. So if North win next week, and Calrton beat St. Kilda, then it's possible. St. Kilda should have cue in rack now, unlikely they'll risk Roo under those circumstances - you'd say Calrton should have no trouble winning that match. Essendon are done, you'd have to say. Today's result clarified the situation significantly. I suppose Freo could muddy it up again by losing to Richmond, but that seems unlikely.

Sure it is. I want to play the Eagles first week of finals so bad *salivating & drooling everywhere*
Dreams and reality are 2 entirely different things. Carlton supporters will always have unrealistic dreams their team will never accomplish

Anyway, we have some of the most ******ed loser no hoper supporters in the league. So no surprise with their pathetic and disgraceful response. Mpst are only pleased when a Carlton's person head is on the chopping block. ******s.

We will see, I did say IF we make the finals not we will make the finals if you can comprehend simple English that is.

Looks like you have had a few too many drinks on Lygon St

Looks to be now a battle in 2 between Carlton & Freo for the last position, with Essendon/Saints losses. Freo still hold the upper hand & would make the finals more interesting, given it could be a Western Derby the 1st week of the finals. I'm sure West Coast would prefer the Blues.

Neutral footy fans would prefer a Western Derby elimination final! Hope it happens.

The SA Showdown final was the best game I have been to (having not got to the Grand Finals).

Yep, as a neutral a Western Derby final would be great to watch.

No doubt if it comes down to Hawthorn for WC in round 23 for the last top 4 spot and it's a close game the umps (on directive from HQ) will do their best to get Hawthorn over the line (providing Freo finish 8th).

Blues are still a good team who might cause an upset in the finals if they make it, as much as it pains me to say it.

They actually look really well balanced with Casboult and Kreuzer, McLean has given them some grunt and depth in the midfield, if Waite can stay on the park they have a better forward structure and Jamison comes back and their defence looks much better. Strangely enough I think the tough last month or so has helped them build some mental fortitude which they might have been lacking in the past.

If Carlton convincingly beat GC and then knock of St Kilda they are in, assuming one of the two below scenarios happen:

North lose to Collingwood and Fremantle.

Fremantle lose to either Richmond or North Melbourne.

Today's huge percentage boost could not have come at a better time. If we can get Jamison back we will finally have a side on the park that resembles what punters/media touted as flag favourites in round 3.
