Bombers website gets a facelift...

Just took a detailed peek into our new improved website. They've adopted a more retro 80's red approach, while ditching most of the black bordering of recent times.

Looking at the player profiles began as a pretty usual curiosity thing till some particular profiles popped up that had me laughing.

In keeping with this theme, Ive decided to conduct a quick poll of my favourite profiles....

Ive selected as follows:

Andrew Lee - Eyes wide open and doesnt blink once (you'll see what I mean...)
NLM - Gets his groove on and dances pretty much the entire time.
J Johnson - crumbles under ribbing from his teammates off camera.
Angus - Tries to copy Lovett's ball tricks unsuccessfully
Watson - barely scrapes through his teammates ribbing.
Welsh - See Angus
Winderlich - Making a late bid for the Harlem Globetrotters.

My fave would have to be NLM, a bloke that decides to dance during a football photo shoot gets my nod.

Hi guys, I'm wondering whether Bomberland will be affected by the changes to the AFL site. I seem to recall a Bomber fan posting a while back to the effect that following the upgrade to the AFL club sites, that Bomberland would become a thing of the past. Can someone enlighten me on this?

That WAS going to happen, but Essendon pushed the ******** off button on it and told the AFL to piss off. We don't get a share of the Telstra internet sponsorship deal (IIRC about 300k a year) but we get to keep our own website. Personally I'd rather the site.

I think I read we do get a share, but not the same amount other clubs get. Which is fair enough.
