Okay, it's Christmas, and I'm sure everyone who drinks has, well, drunk...

So how much diod ya dirnk?

Well, to be honest, my head is pretty muchb spinning, I've drunken far too much. Eaten, and drunk too much, so I wioll probably have a lie down soon.

I've been drinking Jim Beam, Kahlua, Black Douglas, Bacardi Breezers, and god knows what else.

Anywya, what have you been drinking and eating, and how are you handling it?

Food wise.........eaten a bit of EVERYTHING today, I feel very fat. AND loving it.

Nice to see your family promotes responsible drinking amongst its under age members hitters...

As for me, a couple of glasses of a lovely West Australian Semillon Sauvignon went down a treat with my Christmas dinner.

Dough dumplings and red cabbage (yum), with 7 thick slices of turkey for tea last night. Add the couple of packets of peanuts, cashews, and mini M&Ms and I'd say it was a pretty satisfying night. All washed down with about 8 Carlton Draughts and a couple of Murphy's Irish Stouts.

Haven't eaten a thing today unfortunately, but have got into the piss to a minor extent, going through about half a slab (pacing myself 'cos the bottle shops are shut).

Well, er, sorry about the original post, I was a bit, er, under the weather.

Fully recovered now, eating dinner (leftovers of course) while drinking some bourbon and coke.

Must say, I might heed JubJub's warning for future reference, and DD, it's a special occasion, I must make the most of it.

Thankfully, with Melbourne's cool summer weather, the season to be drinking a good South Australian red has been extended

The '98 Knappstein Shiraz has been going down a treat.....I can't believe that I got them at $16 a bottle.

11 cans of VB, 1 bottle of red wine shared with dear ol' grandad, and 3 Vodka Lemon Lime Soda UDL's when i got home.

well it was hot windy and very hazy from all the bushfires in Sudney on Xmas day so I couldn't drink any Red Wine

Just too hot for any of that stuff and besides - we had cold cuts and Italian-style battered prawns for Xmas day so thats hardly good Red Winne food either !

But I didn't do too badly. 3 people managed to go through :

2 bottles Houghton's White Burgundy
1 Bottle Houghton's Sauvignon-Blanc
2 Bottles Clover Hill Chardonnay Sparkling Pinot
6 stubbies Cascade Premium Lager
6 stubbies Cascade Pale Ale
1 whole bottle Absolut Vodka
half bottle Canadian Club (with Coke)
6 Oyster shooters (A raw oyster in a shot-glass, topped up with tomato juice, vodka, tabasco and balck pepper)
1 half bottle Gramps Botritytis Reisling
and copious shots of Kahlua with our coffees

not a bad effort really !
