Its all Port Adelaide, but the first grade side is the primary side carrying on the traditions of the PAFC. It embodies the aspiration to be the best, not just the best in South Australia, even if it costs you comfort and some nostalgia.Am I to infer that anything other than the first grade side of PAFC is not Port Adelaide?
Nope.Could it not be plausible to argue that this first grade PAFC side represented a new club from midway through to the end of '96 whilst its former club was selecting a new squad under new contracts?
So if you believe that then why try and make dumb points about new clubs and former clubs?A football club is more than just a registered name on a document.
A lot of us are very clear on what has happened, and nothing since our original view has changed that - this is more realised now than ever before.Where we sit now, we can have a fair idea if what the structure of our club would be if we were able to turn back time. We would possibly be where we are now but without a residue of the separation of a football community and the values darting in different directions.
PAFC entered the AFL. Power = Magpies. End story, whiners can have fun whining.
