Look I know it's International Rules, but he's still representing his country.

The way he always dives when he gets slightly out-muscled looking for a free-kick always annoys me, and this happened a lot during the season while playing for Melbourne as well.

Personally I'd like to see him just simply become tougher at the ball, and maybe they should give the captains role to a guy playing on the ball.

I know there will be a few of you who'll think my comments are unwarranted, don't get me wrong I reckon he has been for us (Melbourne) in the last few seasons, but once he was given the role of captain his whole football mentality and the way he played has changed.

Maybe the 2012 captaincy spot should be looked at..? Is there any other Melbourne supporters that agree with me?

I'd love to see you tell Greeny to his face that he is uncourageous. You're a real tough guy sitting at your keyboard.

Uncourageous is probably a bit too far. He's put his body on the line enough times now to not get called that, especially from about 2005-2010 there were no issues.

But I'd happily call him uninspiring as a leader yet alone a captain. If he was a young player you'd say he's a lazy forward pocket who can get on the end of a few but doesn't do enough defensively.

I agree with your sentiments about him being an uninspiring leader. I think that unfortunately the game has got too quick for Brad, and it has happened really quickly. I still think he has a role to play, but it's a little sad to see that he is not the player he once was. Time waits for no man.

It's sad enough that he's already embarrassed Melbourne nationally, but to take it to an international scale now is unforgivable.

Wow. Thanks to the op for inviting such morons to our board! :thumbsu:

2011 certainly looks like the games has gone past him, and if that was me I'd try and do things differently to get back ahead of the game. Which would include increasing my fitness and/or speed by extra preseason training and dropping the captaincy to focus on playing. I'm not sure Green will do either of those. I don't think he was a good fit for international rules.

Too many already?

Speaking of embarrassing. You watch Andrew Swallow tonight??? Slow as a wet weak and totally out of his depth. Isn't he your best player??

I would, but we all know you only have a handful of supporters and only 3 of them can afford the internet.

Go easy mate. We'll be putting money in your tins for years to come.:thumbsu:
