I have been saying this for years but I think Green would be an excellent Full Forward. Orginally i was hoping that we would push Neitzy to CHB in 2002 and play Green out of the square.

Green is a lovely kick and we could have developed him into a strong leading forward. He would be putting on even more muscle cause he would be playing out of the goal square and wouldn't need as much stamina.

Is it to late to groom Greeny into our next full forward?

He could certainly play a Brad Johnson type role for the club, but I would still like us to blood some of the taller players there as well. But if we promote Valenti then I think we can afford to play Green for the majority of the game down forward.

It's still amazing that some posters still want him out. Green could probably do quite well at FF as well as many other positions. I agree with CBH in that we should concentrate on longer term players for FF and other key positions but lets face it, Green bobs up everywhere anyway. Believe it or not I think Green even could have been ok on Buddy Franklin, better than any of our conventional defenders anyway.

He's too short for a primary target and not fast enough to be a leading full-forward like Johnson or Williams.

Is alright if you have someone like Robbo or Neiter to give him the spoils.

I'd rather try Jared Rivers as an option. He tries really hard and always puts in at the contest. He would at least force the ball to ground for the crumbers.

No way , I would much rather Rivers in the backline . I'd love to see Green at FF , quick off the mark and a beautiful kick ,him or juice take your pick.

Don't have to quick to be a good leading forward...reading the play is much more important. Brad has already proved that he is good enough as a leading forward in his early years and so there's no reason why he can't do it again.

A forward line of the following should sit for the rest of the year...

HF: Robertson, Miller, Bate
FF: Davey, Newton, Green

...Wonaemirri and Davey can have spell's in the midfield as well.
