They have Richmond, West Coast and Carlton in the next 3 weeks.

Could win all 3 - could lose all 3.

Probably needs to win at least 2 to take a bit of the pressure off, especially with Voss already out.

The vultures will move onto their next target soon.

Carlton moving Voss on will put pressure on Essendon to make the call.

They'd want to at least think they're getting the first choice.

A loss at Dreamtime against a team that's playing whoever is fit could be the last straw.

Ben Rutten: 38.6% win rate, finals in first year, sacked second year. Paid out $600,000

Brad Scott: 37.3% win rate, no finals in four years. Will have to paid out $1 million if the club sacks him before next year.

Sorry Ben, if only you had a twin brother in the industry so people might be fooled into thinking you could coach.

Find an industry that lets you fail upwards like the footy industry does to Brad.

Essendon fans need to accept that he wont be getting sacked Welsh and co have hitched their wagon to Brad for this year club cant afford the pay out.

2027 a different story he's ooc we can remove him and save over a million dollars
He’s on $1 mill a year ?
That’s hard to believe .

If WC play like they did against GWS they’ll beat them easily.

True…. I still think the Eagles will take a lot more from that win last night. They were really good.
Eagles win is replicable. We’ve won our three games based on the same thing. Increased pressure and intensity.

What is Essendon winning strategy?

I’d expect at Optus we should be ok baring no injuries to key players next week.

Worked hard all night and had something of a plan for the now predictable early onslaught - but were also helped by poor kicking at goal from the Giants - realistically should have been 5 goals down at quarter time. Harley's ability to take charge as BOG was the difference ultimately.

You’ve got to keep that guy

I don’t think we’re the same circumstance. Voss didn’t have a year to run on his contract and when it become clear he wasn’t getting another year he walked.

I don’t really see how there is much to gain sacking Scott during the season.

It’s really quite simple.

Our core senior players are just not that good.

Parish, Setterfield, McGrath, Caldwell, 2mP, Redman, McKay, Duursma, Langford, Blackison and 100 gamer Perkins are killing us with their mediocre performances and lack of intensity.

I don’t think Scott is addressing this vital issue of concern.

F knows what he says to them all.

Rubbish, Welsh himself is well off, just because he made that outrageous statement recently re Scott being the next premiership coach, doesn't mean he can't also switch off the coaching for Brad if he has to make a hard decision. The longer Brad is left as coach, and the losses rack up, well it will be harder for him to sack him, but not impossible.

1 win from their last 24 attempts.
Not trying to rub it in. Prior to this season, Essendon never have lost to Fremantle at the MCG.

I have seen Essendon put out squads worse than the one they put out on the weekend, yet still beat the dockers easily in Victoria

Probably says more about the current Freo squad compared to Essendon. Good to see Freo hungry for success now right across the board. Playing an exciting brand of football and winning in Melbourne against anyone for them is a big tick.
