I back him 110%. Given in his short career the multiple changes in the backline he to me has been outstanding. Sure his brain fades have been costly but over the last 8-10 games they have been getting less and less.

He can reef the footy a long way or go short sharp passes( ok sometimes they don't find the mark) but no o e can ever accuse him of not give his all.

Yep...the only thing majorly wrong with Brayden is his woeful right foot...he's definitely a keeper... if we dumped everyone who made a mistake we'd have no one left..

Maynard would be better up field for us around the wing with his size and strength, when we get some one who can do a better job down back

Braynard is always going to have the Heath Shaw trait where he bottles it once a game I think, but his offensive weapons and physicality will see him as a real long term beast for us at half back. It's been a pretty good year he is coming along ok.

Maynard's improvement over the course of the season - even with the brain fades, lapses in concentration and more recent poorish form - should also be seen in the context of the overall team's disappointing year. To improve in a 'down' year is no mean feat.

He needs to learn to think. Makes horrible decisions, and is a liability.

If he's so highly rated, trade him for something of worth. If no bites, delist.

He's more of a problem than a solution.

His brainfarting has become less consistent and regular. I guess that's an improvement.

Move him to midfield where his mistakes will not directly cost goals. And yes that handball was dumb, but it should never have been given to him by Langdon I think it was. Giving it to a left footer running on the right side is not smart. Was always going to be under pressure.

Like the kid, but he has been poor the last couple of weeks.
I'm not being sarcastic when I say that he probably hit an opponent with his disposals more than his team mates today.

Agree, Maynard should know better than to run himself into trouble on his right side. Think some of these errors come from a lack of chemistry. Langdon and Maynard have played all of 6-7 games of footy together. If they continue to make these types of errors then it becomes a concern.

He's had a few down weeks. Time for a spell in the twos?

Not performing as well as he has shown he's capable of but doubt he's been that poor that he needs to be dropped.

For me it's been his decision making that lets him down, he's still a beautifully skilled player and has a lot of upside, he just needs to be more switched on. If they can extract that without dropping him then we're fine.
