Seriously, how many more times do we have to see players go for the hack kick forward, only to be intercept marked by the opposition defenders? It's happening constantly throughout games.
If you don't have any targets to kick to, or better yet, in a high pressure situation, why not go for the dropkick? One of the main reasons for its use 50 years ago was a ball that was very difficult to mark. It's only a free kick against if you're being tackled. Instead of going for aimless kicks that get intercepted 9 times out of 10, why not at least try to improvise with something different?
