An absolute soldier is Brogan.

Hes about the only one we have at present DB. An honourable mention to S Phillips for his efforts last night but other than that we have a bunch of nancy boys. Hartlett is a perfect example, talent to burn but his laziness will most probably see him end up being an average, serviceable player

You see Randy Savage died the other day in a car crash in Florida?
Anyway if all our players put in Brogs effort each week we would not be scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Brogan is playing a lone hand this year and it's not just in the ruck.

This isn't meant as a troll (I save that for the bay) but I was just having a look at the ruck stats for Sam Jacobs and then compared his stats to other ruckmen in the AFL, and I thought Brogan would be up there near the top for HO and HO to advantage. But for those who have played more than four games he is ranked #16 in HO, #20 in HO to advantage and #23 for % of effective HO. Couple this with the fact that Port are ranked #17 in the comp for all those categories, is that a concerning trend for Port supporters? For a guy who is obviously a warrior for Port, has his time passed? How are guys like Lobbe and Redden developing? Are they ready for AFL?

why did you think he'd be near the top considering we've won two games and we're almost bottom?

Looks like he had problems at the start of the year. Struggled to get 15 in a game. Also injured himself this week.

He can still play but his body needs to hold up

Like i said, I wasn't trolling. The games that I have seen him play, he looks like he's having a real impact so I was suprised with how the stats don't back that up.

FWIW Sauce is up there in the top 10 for ruckmen yet we've won three games and sit almost bottom!

Was at the game and after the siren saw Cox and Brogan have a bit of a cuddle and heart to heart.

Eagles fans in front of me said the word 'retiring' was used.

I expected it to be his last year, but god we'll miss him.
