Buckley vs Voss

If both of these players were fit and out of contract, who would you take.

For mine, Voss

Voss because he goes in and does the hard stuff, and wins the ball consistently (especially in 50/50 situations). Also, when comparing the two, you have to look at their captaincy. Voss wins this little battle my a street. If Buckley was such a good captain...why would he need leadership classes?

As Bucks said when interviewed earlier this season (in response to how the classes helped him) "yeah...i'm starting to go out with the boys and getting to know them a little better". Hang on...a captain should do this regardless...that's what playing in a team is all about. He shouldn't have to do any leadership classes to know that!!!

I thought that comment was kind of pathetic.

Voss by a country mile, he goes in to get the thing and is just all round better than Buckley, but its not a fair argument!

Vos is the best player in the league IMHO!

Voss for me too.

Both are champion footballers but Voss consistently demonstrates that he has far better leadership skills. Plus he seems like a nice fella to boot; whereas buckley comes across as being a little surly at times.

I bet the Collingwood supporters are champing at the bit to post on this thread!

Voss is the more complete player, and more of an inspirational leader.
Bucks has been working on his leadership skills, and his improved in leaps and bounds this year.
but didnt have the year he would have expected. he was quiet on too many any occasions, leaving collingwood supporters screaming "where is buckley?"
which is unfair, because he was our best player this year, but didnt have a similar impact as previous years. and expectations are higher.
i'd have voss. simply because he is a better player.
but take nothing away from bucks, he is one of the best players i have seen, and im proud to have him captain at collingwood.

Voss is the player I would most want at Hawthorn...so Voss easily...

Although, if you are offering Bucks, I'd still take him!
