yaWow.
Will he be playing SANFL?

Butcher to replace Neade - just as quick, can take a mark, creates chaos and gets the occasional walk in goal. What's there to lose.
Neade, Amon and Ah Chee all should be sent back to the Maggies

Are you sure your not Kern?Inb4 butch hasn't been very good at sanfl level, 11 goals in 4 games isn't enough. Neade gives us so much pressure. Oh and 2 goals in 4 games. But the pressure. Half our 22 had twice as many pressure acts then Neade. But he brings pressure.... Apparently.![]()

If Butch can kick another 3+ goals then surely he's in the week after?
I think its more then just the number of goals.
I would imaging they want him to more then get easy goals out the back of packs and kicking them in the goal square. They would want to see him presenting on leads well and taking big contested pack marks really dominating inside 50 then converting set shots.
A question for all you snafl followers.
What current snafl FF is crashing packs, taking big pack marks and converting goals?
I haven't seen a lot of games other than ours (Power) this year so I wonder, what current AFL KPF is currently crashing packs etc etc. Are we expecting more and more of Butch until we finally play him when he starts performing like all these other KPF's who are.. 'dominating'?
I'd happily swap Neade out for Butch this week. That seagull impersonation while eyeballing the ump pleading for deliberate OOB while the ball was still in play and failing to hunt resulting in a Giants goal is still pissin' me off four days after the event.
Frankly I'd be playing JB as much as possible. Cannot fathom why he wasn't delisted if he's just gonna run around in the twos. I want to see him given every possible opportunity this season. If he goes 8 games straight at AFL level we'll have something to judge him by. If he's poor, he's out the door. If he's not gonna play he should've been gone last September.
Yeah, cause all those Joe the goose goals we've conceded this year were worth less then others against us. I just want Butch to be held to the same standard as everyone else. Not this one that some people won't count his goals unless they resulted from crashing a pack single handedly, winning the contested mark, then kicking it perfectly from 50 out at 45 degrees, all whilst reciting the Gettysburg address and signing autographs for fans. All 4 of his goals in the SANFL showdown was great, 1 of the 3 vs North Adelaide I admit was a joe the goose goal.
in Mandarin...... whilst reciting the Gettysburg address .......
I dont disagree, I'm just saying i think they want him to look like an AFL player playing at a much lower level, really start to stand out and win us games. Not just be another playing playing in the SANFL.
And that's my point. How many other 28 game KPF's (not even considering the injury setbacks and surgery JB has had) are running around out there looking like AFL quality KPF's?
You have to play him in the AFL if you want him to be AFL standard. I see very little of JB in the PB's but from all I read, surely he is looking like a SANFL quality KPF?
That being the case it seems to me that he's finished his SANFL apprenticeship and ready to take the next step to continue to improve and develop his game in the seniors, the job we recruited him for.
If not then I query why we kept him on the list.
Can't see the logic here ATM.
could be an even worse one to leave charlie on his own against geelong's defence.Would be a terrible decision to bring in Butch against Geelong defense.
