And that's my point. How many other 28 game KPF's (not even considering the injury setbacks and surgery JB has had) are running around out there looking like AFL quality KPF's?
You have to play him in the AFL if you want him to be AFL standard. I see very little of JB in the PB's but from all I read, surely he is looking like a SANFL quality KPF?
That being the case it seems to me that he's finished his SANFL apprenticeship and ready to take the next step to continue to improve and develop his game in the seniors, the job we recruited him for.
If not then I query why we kept him on the list.
Can't see the logic here ATM.
I'd certainly very seriously consider bringing him in(butch vs Howard for a call up)just saying I think he needs to do more at SANFL level.
I don't see enough of him either so it's hard to judge of what you read and looking at the little pit of footage in the PAFC but if he just looks like a SANFL player that isn't going to get him into the AFL side, he needs to look like an AFL player, and their is a big difference between the two.
And to the 28 game remark, yea he has had injures that have held him along way back, but a big reason he hasn't played more is because he hasn't been good enough, and we will find out what the coaches think tonight...
You'd have to think if he'll get a call up it would be tonight.
