Lol this thread still cursing Charlie Spargo it seems.

FYI kanga kanga kanga the running joke in this thread is that Cam always pops up late and kicks the sealing goal everytime the opposition bumps this thread mid-game.

Thank you for your service. 🫡

Nothing happened, still a b grader.

And he’s on double the money dunks is.

It’s incredible that north have 2 players that love aimlessly turning back into traffic just to show how evasive they are.

Wow that’s dual premiership, clutch, coaches votes, match sealing Cameron Rayner

Typical Brisbane rort yesterday, where does one find the breakdown of goals from free kicks versus in play?

Sounds like North Melbourne has a discipline problem.

Pro-tip: when you have an elite forward line, your opponent gives away panicky free kicks in front of goal. When you have blokes like Zurhaar, Curtis, Banch and Duursma in your forward line, your opponent is generally going to feel pretty relaxed and composed in defence.

Curtis and ZDuursma will be fine, at least when fit. Zurhaar is not for public consumption.

North average more free kicks than Brisbane, what do you mean by "typical rort" or are you just throwing the toys out of the cot?

If you spend too much time looking at the general play, you may notice that your mob butchered the ball throughout the match. Probably had more to do with the loss than anything else.

It's true. Jy and who tho?

That’s 3 then.

McKercher. Has all the attributes of being a really good player but wastes so much time mucking around dodging and weaving.

LDU does it too but is strong enough to break tackles so isn’t immediately punished. Just slows ball movement down so much though.

Both are getting better and have licence to do weird shit as normally Kerch can get out of harms way with speed and LDU with strength.

Jy not so much. Handy as a tagger if we can continue to make that work.

  • the ruck block on Draper
  • the high contact on Allen
  • the hold on Charlie
  • the HTB against McDonald

The first three were pretty cut and dried - not really any room to argue, IMO, just clumsy defending.

The HTB I thought may have been a bit stiff - it was probably borderline as to whether he had enough time to constitute prior. But he probably did have time to handball rather than trying to charge through multiple bodies.

theres a reason for the free kicks, the ball lived in our forward half and you gave them away, show me one that wasnt a free kick

Thought most of your 1st half goals from frees (and there were a few) were on the soft side.

We were never going to beat you without Xerri, O'Sullivan, Archer.

ALL soft and not required. If they had let them go, the game would have gone on and nobody would have complained.

It's a big penalty (a goal) for something you don't remember.
