Nah definitely sounds like Coniglio actually turned his back on us. Very different to last year with Shiel. The people saying Coniglio rejected Hawthorn are grossly ill-informed.
The Hawks strategically denied recruiting Cogs so they could get Tomlinson. Was all part of a master plan.
They did this last year as well. Denying Shiel a trade so they could get an above average injury prone small forward.

No it wasn't. I know you missed the finals and are getting excited for next year but let's not overrate performance. Is this the best thread ever on BF?? We're 5 weeks away from the start of trade week. Imagine when we're in the thick of it.
Can't wait to revisit the thread then.
Also blokes potting Chad for the lulz. His last month post injury was deadset elite.

I'm really not concerned about total disposal numbers. He was good and showed he still has the talent but calling his performance elite is a stretch. He was far from elite.Wingard had 20+ disposals in the last six games: 21, 21, 29, 27, 22, 28. Maybe not elite but certainly good enough as a full time midfielder.

I can't deny that.Fair enough. You can’t deny that Hawthorn did look far better when Wingard moved into a new midfield role.
Gone a bit quiet
Hawks first pick trade restriction likely to be waived: Whateley
Hawthorn will look to trade their first round pick despite AFL restrictions according to Gerard Whateley.www.sen.com.au
So as long as the AFL bends the rules to favour the Hawks it is not "Corrupt AFL"?

I'm talking about what he did with the footy, how he broke the lines, and the manic tackling pressure he put on. Totally transformed our midfield. Add Mitchell, and who knows what happens next year.No it wasn't. I know you missed the finals and are getting excited for next year but let's not overrate performance.
If you're pinning your hopes on gaining players from other clubs to be successful, you're not too confident where you're headed as a club.
Gws hope hawks take him like they did scully last year and enable a big salary dump to retain WhitfieldI don't know why Hawks peeps are mad about Patton now? If fit he is a good key forward. You'll have to take on his massive wage but you'll prob only have to give up a 5th rounder for him
Hawks are every chance this year. I was merely talking about your fans screaming out for players from other clubs. Maybe they really aren't that confident.I'm talking about what he did with the footy, how he broke the lines, and the manic tackling pressure he put on. Totally transformed our midfield. Sure we missed on Cogs, but may hit the draft hard now. Most Hawk fans you talk to are optimistic about next year.
It's an even comp at present. Surely you can admit that.
As I said, you'll see a change of tact since missing on Cogs.Hawks are every chance this year. I was merely talking about your fans screaming out for players from other clubs. Maybe they really aren't that confident.
Its up there with the one where you declared Cogs was going to Hawthorn coz of your "knowledge" only to then post the tweet confirming he wasn't 30 minutes later. Is this the best thread ever on BF??
They don't remember because they no longer have a VHS player to watch their last premiership triumph on. DVD's weren't invented until ages after that.
I take it he's one of those 2009 new to the game Hawthorn supporters.Nice attempt at trying to be 'clever', lol...but DVD's were invented in 1995 and Essendon won their last flag in 2000. Assume you're still pretty young if you think that.
Always amazes me how people can't do a simple google check before making big statements. Especially when it turns out they're misinformed.

Oh you never said he was going?I declared he was going to Hawthorn did I?
Nice to see you stalking threads on the Hawthorn board. The obsession lives on.
You've taken one post out of 12 months of Cogs discussion.Oh you never said he was going?
Btw North, Dogs, Blues and Saints fans have all at some stage claimed I'm obsessed coz I read their boards. When in fact I'm just a keen observer of the game and like to see what everyone's talking about. Not just my own teams little bubble.
