Cannons wouldnt mind seing a similar report on Dean Bailey as you are doing on the players!
Yeah, that's a good idea. After the players have been evaluated I'll complete a report on Bailey

----------------------------------------------------
Mark Jamar
Current Ability: C+
Jamar played 14 matches in 2008, collecting career-best figures in disposals and hit-outs. He averaged 18 hit-outs per match and 8 possessions.
Strengths:
- Size
- Ruckwork
- Tackling
- Work rate
- Competitive
Weaknesses:
- Does not get much of the ball
- Disposal
- Offers little around the ground
- Lacks confidence with the ball in his hands
Potential Ability: B-
I don’t see too much improvement left in Mark’s game, considering he has been on the list for 7 years. However, ruckman do take longer to develop, and he will benefit from increased game time due to White’s departure.
He is very physical. Mark lays a lot of tackles, works hard and is a great competitor. Unfortunately, he doesn’t get much of the ball around the ground, and this minimises his overall impact on the game. I don’t think he will ever excel at this part of the game, but this is an area in which he will need to lift his output. If he can do this, he will enhance his value to the club.
He also lacks confidence when the ball is in his hands, perhaps this is due to his skills. Jamar rarely looks to kick, and always attempts to dish off the handball. At times, he makes little effort to sum up the situation and just looks to move the ball by hand. This is illustrated by the fact he averages fewer than 2 kicks per game. If Mark can find some confidence in his foot skills, and actually assess his options his production could be improved greatly.
His ruckwork is impressive, and he is among the best ruckman for hit-outs to advantage. His competitive drive and physicality around the stoppages are also features of his game.
Trade Value: 3rd rounder
Overall, Mark had a reasonable year. Despite encouraging results, he still has a lot of work to do on his game. Whilst he offers a strong physical presence, he needs to work harder to have an influence around the ground. 2009 shapes as an important year, especially as he is now the club’s most senior ruckman.
