Guys it's a game of footy that we ain't playing... I'm excited to get to the ground tomorrow as much as the next guy, but we should all be able to sleep... Maybe get off bigfooty is a start... Lol

The fact we aren't playing can actually add to the lack of sleep and anxiety. The only possible impact we have can be to be there and give our support throughout the game, maybe lift the team or individuals at some stage of the game.

The fact our involvement is purely on an emotional level and there is next to nothing we can do to influence the result can stress out so many people, that feeling of not having any control of what is going on, and wanting to get the win so badly.

Well I'm sure that's the case for many supporters, personally I just have a habit of staying up grand final night from childhood.

The old man boarded a plane in Guangdong, arriving at Melbourne airport at 12.30pm tomorrow afternoon. Talk about running it close and without a proper form of communication, I could have a ticket that wont even be used tomorrow. Unwanted responsibilities on the day of the grand final.

There have been typhoons in China and I think his plane has departed but if the weather is shit tomorrow, who knows if arrivals will be delayed. And customs. Anxious wait. All of these worries are going to stop me from sleeping tonight.

I did this in 2003. Flew in from USA gameday, sat in my seat just as siren blew for first bounce ( planned to arrive at 1pm ). Good luck tomorrow, I hope everything goes to plan.

Had knee surgery on Tuesday, and will be incapacitated during the granny so I can't make it to the G - not being able to sleep AND being a cripple sucks haha.

constant drizzle all night. VERY cold. Crowd Nothing compared to last year although building quickly now that the car park is open.
