He would have polled 6 in the last two games, but he will never win the brownlow, but he should be the better poller down at the Lexus Centre.

No way he only got 1 vote last year.
Unless umps have started to notice him more due to his reputation he won't get the respect he deserves, no backline player does.
The fact is they judge him on the game he plays and not on the job he does on his oponent.

James Clement is one of the last persons i would think of to win the brownlow but i want him to sooooo much!! I just can't see him posting 2's and 3's in all those games we lost!! But this year is very much open and like most afl players they would give it up to win the preimership so cmon pies!!!

clement doesnt attract umpires like ur midfielders that run with the ball and r always around the pack, thats why judd stood out so much coz he holds on to the ball so umps have time to watch him with his awesome skills.

clement good player but for u to consider him a brownlow medal chance is prity silly, he is good but backmen dont win brownlows very often. his only chance would be if u were to win the rest of ur games with him BOG.

Given that he has been playign as captain the past few games i would think that he would be more recognised by the umpires. What more does a bloke need to do to get noticed on the field?! He consistantly beats his oponents, consistantly puts his head over the ball, is quick, versatile, smart and the list goes on! Wanganeen won his brownlow from the back line, the difference in Clements situation is that he is playing in a losing side at the moment. That could all be about to change! i hope!!!

Yeah i think clement should take on the captaincy until Fraser is ready! As for the brownlow, i think he is always in our best and i cant see to many players taking votes off him, especially considering our midfield is pretty poor atm. But yeah i agree that for anyone to win a brownlow the team has to be winning!
