Caracella back in the groove (ABC News)
Injured Collingwood midfielder Blake Caracella is on track to play again this year after resuming light training.
Caracella suffered a serious neck injury earlier in the season but the two-time premiership player no longer needs to wear a neck brace and is on a modified training program.
Coach Mick Malthouse says he is hopeful of having Caracella back towards the end of the season.
"As long as he keeps that positive attitude up we'll be delighted to have him back," Malthouse said.
"And he's talking this year. But I know we're only saying halfway through July there's not much left in the year but he is very very positive, and that's a real bonus for us."
