Carlton is the number one destination club, went from Houston and Pretracca to Stringer and Laverde in 24 hours.

A player that is the unfortunate victim of have 3 other mids with identical traits as he does.

Cripps, Cerra, Hewett, Kennedy

He's a very solid player and frankly thought it was laughable he was subbed out tonight but he needs to go somewhere he'll be a core midfielder and a primary ball winner. Gets thrown around way too much due to his marking ability compared to the others.

Pretty much an identical situation. But I'd rate Dunkley a bit better than Kennedy given his defensive running is on another level.

Either way imo one of Hewett, Cerra or him should be finding a new team to call home.

It's Kennedy after being subbed tonight. Surely the smarter one was Kemp to sub out. Kennedy has had a good year. He's tough, plenty of clubs would be interested, but for a pick in the 30s or 40s.

The smarter one would have been Motlop or Durdin. They are absolutely useless.

Kennedy imo worth a pick in the mid-late 20s or we'd say no. Solid player in the prime of his career on a lower end contract, would be a good piece for any team that needs some inside grunt

With 2 players over the age of 30 we're going to fall off a cliff? Bizarre call. We're just rejigging our list make up to be less one paced from all reports.

Reportedly said we will not be trading pick 11 under any circumstances too as we're keen to hit the draft this year on top of bringing in a few mature age players.

I'm not sure what cliff you are referring to.

We're on record stating we don't plan to trade our 1st round pick in this draft.

We have a pipeline of father-sons incoming including Cody Walker who is one of the best 16-year-olds in AUS + the Camporeale brothers.

We are actively replacing all the injury-prone duds and list cloggers with proven talent including All-Australians.

All of our top players have many years of their prime left.

Club is making the final few tweaks to set us up for a multi-year premiership run.

Yep - let’s just ignore the time and development put into the list of players your mocking me about that has equated to basically zero benefit to the list going forward.

I’m sure someone like Houston will fix everything, similarly like Zac Williams did a few years back.

Simply put, Owies is worth something. Motlop is not.

We need draft picks to use or trade, getting rid of Motlop doesn't provide that while Owies might.

While I completely agree on moving on these players earlier...

As others have said, we have a steady stream of quality father sons and academy players coming in over the next few years and a large portion of the list in the mid-late 20s where they should have a good 4-5 years left of good footy left in them.

I don't share the same sentiment that we're in a dire list situation if we can continue using a few draft picks each year on top of our F/S's etc + the odd sugar hit like Houston who fills a list hole. Cody Walker projects as a pick 1 type talent, we've got some decent kids already and our list is well spaced out in terms of age to gradually move on players as replacements develop within.

Trading out the list cloggers this off season, while a year late should still help us rebalance our list for the future imo.

Hope i don't get blasted for being an opposition supporter but always felt that your lists spine is strong it just needs the other B grade Talent to fill in the gaps?
