No because of our draft strategy... but in a different year sure! Its very risky to go completely all in with an entirely new coaching set up, I imagine there will be a few players out the door at the end of next season who Voss doesnt see in his long term plans. Best to see who goes in and out first before committing all our resources to making a push this year.

On talent alone I think Goater is an absolutely awesome prospect, his athleticism is off the charts for a midfielder and his decisions are generally good, he just has a very hit or miss disposal by foot.
Sounds like a Dow.

Got a gut feel Nick Austin may be looking at Sam Butler or Zac Taylor type at p25, they’re , quick, excellent footy IQ and usual something happens when they have the ball in their hands .Versatile minds / forward types.

Fejo is a mature age 20 year old, 178 71.

Recent combine results in SA, tested well in agility 8.08( not surprising with those side steps) and did well in standing vertical leap, 70

Surprisingly, didn't feature in the top 5 , 20 metre sprint, so not inside 3 seconds

As a sidenote, Leek Alleer recorded a combine record, left foot leap at 107cm, a long with 90cm right foot, 75cm standing

Leek Alleer may well be the smokey for us, Nick maybe deploying the old smoke and mirrors.

Looks to have exciting x factor that we could certainly use

Also looks to have his head screwed on

If he goes undrafted and we have a LTI spot or LOB gets picked before our rookie pick hope we have a look

Yup, I like Ronald too, one would think he’s is a viable option , given time to get his fitness to AFL & plenty of mentoring, he looks a great youngster prospect at p25, plenty of potential.

RHETT BAZZO KEY DEFENDER
Nudged his way into the top-30 after his standout key defensive game earlier this month for Western Australia. Bazzo collected 18 disposals against South Australia and showed he can set up the play with the ball in his hands and his penetrating kicking. Bazzo was an All-Australian at under-16s level and has proven he can also swing into attack and make an impact too.
what’s everyone’s thoughts a key defender or a mid/forward type ?

Owens and Windhager

Any idea where they're rated? Just had a look, St Kilda have three picks totaling ~270pts at the back end of the draft as is, but those picks will all come in at least 8-9 spots once the Daicos and Darcy bids are matched.

Running the numbers on that, with the 197pt discounts on both their players assuming a bid is outside the first round, then they've got enough points to cover bids on both at the start of the third round (or one mid/late second and the other late third).

We're almost certainly asking about deals to go up.

If a player we rate slides into the teens we will want a way to get at them

FWIW Tom Elliot thinks we're looking to trade for Richmond's pick 15.

Would probably be something along the lines of 15, 40 for 25 and next years first?
15 for 25 and F2 maybe. But doubt we do this unless it's on draft night, and there's someone like Rachele still on the board. As Stamos said, Austin indicated in the interview that we'll be investing in next year's draft, so very much doubt we'll want to to give away further picks (we're already down a F3). And we'll only be taking one pick at this year's draft.

We have a reasonable giant forward defender in Lewis Young 202cm.
If he contact work is ok and can go with the giant super forwards,
we release Weits & Jones to be the damaging & attacking rebounding drive together with Saad , Williams that would be the starting point to playing finals in 2022.
