Just listening to Kane Cornes basically troll Carlton supporters all morning on SEN. He's not even trying to be subtle.

Is there another sports station Carlton supporters can listen to.

Starts off with a comment like" Carlton supporters, haven't heard much from you this morning, call in let us know your thoughts on the team" Usual critcism thrown in.

I missed a bit but obviously he's not getting enough reaction because then he goes with "in my opinion Carlton supporters are the most sensitive in the league" hoping to get more bites on the phone.

I realise he'd use this post as proof of our sensitivity but FMD, he has no shame.

Hutchy just paid a fortune for this station and brought in all new people to make this station better and we get this campaigner bagging us out EVERY SINGLE SHIFT he gets.

What has me more worried is we lose Murph to FA top up with a FA … receive No compensation for the loss of Murph and the PP is rejected ….. double flaming pineapples from the AFL …….

They have never shown me any behaviours to make me think differently even when Fitzy when Chairman of the AFL commission.

I don't think us receiving a priority pick is that outrageous. Of course fans from other clubs will say it is, what club would honestly say "Yeah sure, let's move down one spot in the draft just to help them out". I know I wouldn't want it for another team. But if Carlton don't win 4 games (very realistic) with the recent history of the club then who the bloody hell does get a priority pick? What's the point of having the system in place if a club in our situation doesn't deserve one?

I wouldn't mind it if the AFL gave us a PP with the provision that we do all we can to trade it for an experience player, given that's what we need to be successful sooner than later. I don't mean a 28 yr old, but a 24 ish yr old who is playing well. Maybe the oft talked about Shiel, or possibly Wines if he decides not to stay at Port. Pick 11 or so might be enough to get someone of that ilk and that would be great for the club, especially if Murphy wants to move on.

But to say we shouldn't receive one at this point I think goes beyond reasonable thought. It's clear we do.

Exactly the whole system is flawed.. top teams attract free agents and don't need to give up any selections while bottom teams second round selections get pushed back.. Bottom eight sides should each get a second pick before the top eight.. For example finish 18 get pick one and nine finish 17th get pick two and ten..etc
