i stupidly, money wise, did the double header and dropped in to the 'G to have a few more drinks and get a 'real' atmosphere (even the doggies fans were kinda yawn worthy).

the blues aint that bad. why would it even be considered an "upset"?

We played like crap and it looked ugly but we only lost by 20 points. The bulldogs went throught some quiet spells like not kicking anything for 10 minutes. Surely we could beat carlton eventhough they managed to beat the tigers.

Exactly! The Doggies had to be at their best (Johnson kicking a career best 8, West 30+ posies, Gilbee on fire) to beat us at what I would consider close to our worse form, and it was only by 20 points!

Not every team is gonna be on fire and that in form this season. We will win more games than we loose, probably by a few.

I didn't catch the Geelong vs Bulldogs game, but how'd Scarlett go? You'd want him to do well against Fevola... they've had an interesting rivalry, it's been pretty even IMO (the Brownlow kiss they shared makes it more spicey).

Looking forward to that match-up.
