Casboult has been maligned but has improved his kicking and has always been an elite mark. He now seems to have turned a corner. In and out of the seniors.
Redpath was a mature age recruit, has had 3 knee recos, but seems to have some real currency now.In and out of the seniors.
Who is better, has more value, who would you select for your team if you had to?

Don't know if you can consider Redpath as a "big forward", Cripps is taller than him. Casboult has kicked 2 less goals this year than Redpath has in his entire career, while playing as a 2nd ruckman. Pretty easy one at the moment

From the little I've seen of Redpath, I'd take him over Casboult.

Redpath has kicked 48 career. Casboult has kicked 20 for the season.

Both are absolute plodders. You would take Casboult in your team before Redpath though. Just feel as though he has the ability to impact more games even when he's not hitting the scoreboard through crashing packs, pinch hitting in the ruck and taking the occasional strong mark on the wing.

Cazz for me, Forward can ruck and has a weapon mark, Both stop gap players however, Always looking to upgrade when possible.

Casboult is a very easy choice for me.

This. Redpath is a reliable set shot, but he's very one dimensional - unless he's getting it delivered lace out on the lead, he doesn't offer much, probably due to his size and 3 knee recos. Credit to him though, he's gotten the most he possibly could out of himself.

But Casboult offers a lot more overall and I think he's clearly the better option.

Can only run in a straight line, zero forward pressure and doesn't bring it to ground. Handy poacher but structurally he's a black hole.

Voted for redpath u think he's very underrated, he crashes packs he takes good marks clearly a better kick at goal than Levi. But In saying that since Rocca took over the forward line coaching at blues Levi has improved. In my team right now I field red. Love he's energy and determination. It's second to none
