People might not like Juice but with our lack of forward pressure he should be given another crack because he's our best tackling forward.

It also helps he's kicking goals.

Yes!!!! Besides, we'll need another forward with Bate, Petterd and Newton playing seniors next week.

The reserves won by like 20 goals. Wouldnt read too much into it.

Casey looking like comfortable winners against Frankston. And some really good signs from Melbourne listed players.

Bate - so far has kicked 6 and must be selected in the senior side next week.

Petterd - Has been impressive without dominating. His field kicking has let him down a touch, but has done enough for a recall.

Maric - kicked a couple of goals and played on the ball for most of the game. Looked very good for the whole game and close to BOG.

Howe - really impressed with his game today. great mark and his field kicking has been fantastic. Not far away on this form.

Nicholson - Just a matter of time before this guy gets elevated onto the senior list. Got some speed and can find the footy. Impressive today.

Evans - Another rookie listed player who has impressed today. A couple of goals as well.

Warnock - Hasn't been beaten all season, and today is the same. Should probably replace Frawley who is not fit.

Blease - struggled to get into the game today unfortunately. But still has the speed which is great to see.

Spencer - liked his game today. He really is a massive man. Competes really well and shows some real mongrel. Skills let him down though.

Jetta - A solid game today and puts up his hand for selection.

Lawrence - first time I've seen him play, and he moves well and uses the ball nicely. Kicked a few goals as well.

Gawn - gave away a few frees in the ruck contest, but moves surprisingly well for his size. Still looks raw though.

J MacDonald - Solid across half back without being outstanding

Cook - moves well for his size. Presented and kicked a nice goal in the last. Didn't see much of it though, but with a forwardline of Fev, Newton, Bate and Petterd, I'm not surprised he struggled to find it.

Newton - Didn't dominate today, but pressured well in the F50.

* Fevola - Kicked a couple and worked into the game when we started to dominate in the last. Still looks a bit unfit, but will get better. Unfortunately will take a place of Fitzy or Cook while in the side.

Enough solid players today to suggest there should be changes next week for the Adelaide game. Bate, Petterd and Maric in particular should come in. Warnock as well should seriously be considered.

An 22 (or close) year old AA gun defender for a guy who is really just depth. Come off it. Sometimes a guy makes a few mistakes and isn't at top level but you don't drop him. Especially with the comment no heart, what is that bullshit.

As a side note i loved Fev's game today, worked hard for his team, got a little fustrated when he wasn't getting the ball in the 3rd, put continued to work anyway. Also liked the dig he had at himself after the game about "rolling" out of rehab at 116kg. Knows the road ahead will be long and hard
