Why did you highlight clisby and not Byrnes?

Clisby is younger and better stats are worth more from him. What we see from Byrnes is all we can expect.

Would be interesting if we upgrade Clisby with Mitch probably being out for a while.

He has done pretty solidly at Casey.

Is it just me? But it seems nearly our entire list is too good for VFL level and not good enough for AFL...

The form of Gawn and Fitzy in the two levels is the best example I can think of.

Matthew Bate was a classic example. Tom Couch looks to be another who racks it up at VFL level and just gets lost at AFL level. But that might have just as much to do with our side as it is with him. Slot Tom Couch into a Freo or Hawthorn, and he most likely wins high 20 possessions every week.

Probably needs another go playing for Melbourne, he'll be gone at the end of the year if he doesn't get a go in the seniors so he may as well be given one last chance.

2-3 weeks to perform & then they can say hes been given every opportunity.

He won't make it at afl level, too short and slow. Needs to be moved on.

Magner might make it, but needs to work on his skills.

I was at the game on Saturday.

Clisby looks the goods. Think dan Nicholson, with decent skills. Kid deserves a crack from the couple of vfl games I've seen.

Shagga Byrnes was good. I'd be ok with getting back in the seniors.

Taggert didn't do a whole lot, and goes missing a lot.

Hogan is a beast! Kicking action is shocking though, but I'll make a big call now. He WILL be better than joe daniher!

Gawn did a lot of good things, but didn't take all his chances when he put in the hard work.

Gillies is a plodder, as is Davis. We basically have no back line depth.

If you wanna know about anyone else, just ask!!

I wanna know which players genuinely showed signs or did things that you could say , yeah they could do that at afl level

I really think Clisby has the goods. Hogan obviously.

I'm a big fan of Tynan, and think both he and Strauss deserve a long crack in the seniors to prove themselves. We need to find out about those 2, and either persist or cut our losses.

Gawn was the dominant big man on the ground, and I definitely think he will be number 1 ruck soon, but maybe a year or 2 away still.

I don't think couch or magner should be on our list when we are any good. Both very good vfl players, but far too limited.

Dom Barry does some nice things, but needs to get more involved, same with taggert. Both could be very good players though, but they still need some work.

Shane Valenti. lol

Luke Tynan brother seems to be rising quite quickly. VFL development league B&F, now making the bests in the VFL seniors. Doing better than his AFL listed brother.

Hi Guys. Went to Casey Fields on the weekend. Just a couple of questions.
Is Hogan playing in the #45 jumper? I didn't have a record. But that guy was impressive except for his finishing.
Was also impressed with Spencer in the ruck. Big solid lad.
Good luck with the rest of the year, you've had your share of bad luck by now.
I know you are copping it in the media, but I think things aren't as bad as they seem.
You just need something resembling your best team on the park.
Clarke, Dawes, Grimes, Viney & Frawley will make a big difference when on the park. Not to mention Hogan & Toumpas coming on next season.

Yeah mate, that's the hulk in #45

I have no idea why we didn't rookie list him last year. Was superb in 2012 for Casey and surely would have been a better option than a Stark?

Just on Nathan Stark, we will be nicknaming him Ned - right?

I'd rather go with Robb lol
