And let's not forget JJS: we got Mannagh into the bargain on top of it, awesome result for the Cats. Also reckon COS may end up nearly as good as Matty Scarlett.... the kid is that good!

O'Sullivan reminds me a lot of when Blicavs first started playing down back. Has the same kind of mobility for a big bloke as Blitz has.

As far as versatility winty: yes, but that is all. COS has more overall class than Mark. If I was to compare COS with anyone player it would be former Essendon champion backman in Dustin Fletcher, they are very similar type of players with COS in time probably having the stronger body but other than that as I said they're very, very similar players 'which is great for all of us Cat fans'.

So awesome we went with O'sullivan over Caddy.

Lets hope he goes on to win rising star.

In fairness to Casdy, it is almost impossible for a young key forward to have an impact when you are being smashed.

He is an exciting player in his own right.

I may miss some but in the last 12 months we have brought in Mannagh, Hump and COS as raw kids. Ridiculous talent management right there.
If i reply to my own post:

Mannagh goal smarts we knew. Contested possies i sure didn't.

Hump - not sure he's made too many mistakes. Cool as a cucumber and a 55m goal on the run on the non preferred ffs.

COS - well fmd. Height, pace, judgement, and does not mind a grab.

What finds eh?

The fact we got 2 of them in COS and Mannagh from the 1 pick thanks to ESS really wanting Caddy is a bonus.

We traded down from pick 10 to 11 and got the pick we used for Mannagh from the downgrade.

If we had Caddy forward with Danger and Cameron this year instead of Neale he would be doing very well based on what we have seen when he is in a forwardline with competent players and the delivery is ok.

Just how COS likely would be struggling if he was playing in Essendons back 6 today.

* For mirth.

I was talking to my dad yesterday. We then spoke about the game. (he's 86 and never tips against Geelong).
I said, "we've got this by 10 goals dad".
He didn't share my optimism.

I rang him tonight and said "Hi dad, quick call. I'm sorry about deceiving you yesterday"

pause.... 'what do you mean, how?'
"well, I said 10 goals"

He burst out laughing.

allrighty: Good call on Mannagh as I, like you had no clue that Mannagh is so good in close contested footy, huge surprise. Was sure delighted we got him for his elite skills and goal kicking in VFL as it was plain to see he was much better than VFL level but those contested possies in AFL as you say have been a humongous bonus along with his ferocious tackling and applied pressure.

55m goal on the run on the non preferred ffs..... bloody awesome allrighty: and 'The Chief' thought he was a natural left footer and called it that way, someone needs to let him know that he's a right footer but then again maybe he's not !!!

Lawson Humphries- who the hell kicks a 55m goal on your opposite foot - get out of town😁
So exciting he's starting to drift forward and use his sublime disposal and footy IQ

To me F2G: that was 'the highlight of the match' yet hardly a word mentioned, the kid is going to be a star and yeah, he sure has a high footy IQ and is extra nibble on his feet, moves like 'A CAT' and a bloody good one and he's also 'plenty tough' for his size and lightish frame.... just love him!
