I really like it craegus

Probably your best logo work IMO.

I'd possibly widen it slightly so that it's not quite so long, and ensure all the line weight is the same, but it's a great idea. Clean, nails the brief. It's a patch so it would work on any coloured shirt, even with stripes.

I had it wider but it begins to distort the letters too much (C's become too shallow) and it looks a bit too boxy.

Well I took most of your criticism to make it!!!
