I genuinely find it distasteful that he would use the death of someone to try and wriggle out of criticism for his performance.

As they say, graveyards are full of indispensable people. Chapman is so stupid that he genuinely believes that nobody could be Chairperson unless he’s trained and mentored them in the role. There’s plenty of people who post on this board that could do it without the club being any worse off. And that includes many of the apologists who I disagree with on lots of matters football.
