Grimes looks set to miss as does Jamar.

So..............

In: Cheney Johnson

Out: Grimes Jamar

That sounds about right to me. After Cheney's form in the VFL, there is no reason he wouldn't come in this week, unless Dean wants to cast his eye over Valenti one final time. However, I think we can safely assume that Valenti isn't going to feature as part of the club's long term plans, and as such, I don't see him getting a game this week.

Johnson also dominated in the ruck, so he will probably come in as well, assuming Jamar is out.

I'm starting to think some players are being 'rested' or developing 'untimely injuries' in order to ensure Tom Scully joins us next season.

Yep, I'd agree with the OP, although I could easily envisage Valenti coming in for Grimes too... Cheney appears more likely.

Johnson will play, no doubt, but I hope they play Valenti, & I would give Juice another run. The guy's been performing pretty good in the VFL.

Out: Jamar, Grimes, Robbo, Brock

In: Johnson, Cheney, Juice, Valenti

Didnt want to drop Robbo and Brock but i think that consitent form in the VFL should be rewarded. Play them both in the VFL for confidence, Brock would be tagged so it is good experience for him.

Cheney HAS to come in for Grimey.
The unluckiest player on our list, has performed quite well every time he gets a senior game but hasn't been shown faith in consistent run of games. Has to work on defensive skills, but should be given majority of matches til round 22.
If Juice gets picked I will cry....

Juice actually deserves an opportunity, I just don't think he will get one, which is the reason why I haven't included him in my 'ins.'

He really has been banging the door down in recent weeks, kicking bags of 4 for fun in the VFL and on a very consistent basis. If he isn't given an opportunity soon, I don't think it is really fair on the guy. Surely there is nothing to lose from at least trying him and dropping Robbo, considering the season is already gone and losing may, in fact, be perceived as a preferable result.

I'm pretty sure Bailey may have just written him off at this point though, as I can't imagine how someone can consistently perform at VFL and not be rewarded.

Bailey said no to Spencer playing.

Valenti played what, one game? He was at half forward most of the time anyway. I don't see a huge upside to him but give the kid a shot at least.

Give Juice a run for Robbo. He's deserved a callback. I'm pretty sure that he's contracted for next year so we can't give up yet.

Correct, the Doggies game, arguably our best performance of the season.

Valenti also kicked a crunch goal in the last term.
