Siddle looked knackered a couple of times during the last test (was squatting down as soon as he got into the huddle after he took wickets on the first day) and at one point they thought he had some sort of injury, so I expect he'll be the first one to get rotated out for a rest. They'll probably be monitoring him closely during the week.








But comparing a game where players front up every week for a game as physicality demanding as AFL and who do so over about nine months consisting of some thirty games is hardly the same thing as we’re discussing here. Three Tests where the team has won relatively easily and with a long break before the final game. Resting a player in those circumstances is flirting with form IMO.
