Ken was concerned about losing the contested possession count but I can see White and Pittard coming in for S Gray and Amon to add some experience and composure.

Atley and Ah Chee will get a look in if there are injury concerns.

I would love Port to #PlayFrampton if Ryder is out but expect it to be Lobbe. Dixon to back up in ruck and Trengove to stay in defence.

I would've had him out for Pittard for this game. He wasn't terrible over the first few rounds but he hardly made himself undroppable either, and the contested Showdown was never going to suit him.

It's understandable in terms of being a bit underdone but yea I think even a rusty Jasper offers more.. the Hombsch injury sucks! our defence goes up a cog or three with he and Jasper down there.

Definitely Pittard in. Hombsch out was a huge loss and I reckon it played a major factor in last night's result as we seemed to lack the composure, leadership and intercept marking in which he brings to the table. Pittard can improve that against the Giants, but fuark I'm counting down that days until Homma comes back.

If anyone I'd drop Amon. Just not enough precision from him (38.5% disposal efficiency, a strength he's normally praised for, in a game where we really needed it. Push hammer further up the ground and slot Pittard back into the defence.

Contested footy is AhChee's game and same with Atley. I would bring Atley in and let Arch string 3 or 4 games together. I still think Arch has something to offer (which goes against what a lot think around here).

I havent seen any footage of Ryder incident which actually shows what happened. Can anyone share it?

There is absolutely zero benefit in playing Lobbe should Ryder be suspended. Rather go with Jacko and Charlie and bring Austin in defence.
Lobbe is plan D or E and if he's playing we've got big ****ing problems.

Out:
Amon - Carlos is not a lost cause but needs to keeping working on his craft.
Eddy - No impact in 2 out of 3 games with a solid but not exceptional showing against Freo.
Clurey - Got a bath but may be saved if Ryder gets done.
Gray - I didn't think he was as bad as some have said but I don't want us to reward mediocre performances.

In:
Pittard - Give us run, carry and experience.
Atley - Will probably give us more impact that Amon/Gray
Austin - A better one on one defender than Clurey imo.
Ah Chee - Rewarding form.

4 changes seems excessive for a game we didn't play that badly in but I think they're all justified.

Ryder incident, not much in it. Reacted and swung a loose elbow that connected with Knight, who went down like he was shot and lay there like he was dead. That was until the 'pire handed him the free kick and a shot at goal, then he was right as rain.
