Form only seems relevant when it suits around here

Form is relevant when you have alternatives. If we had an in-form KPD to bring in instead of Austin, I'd be all for it. But we don't.

If Trengove hurts himself at training today, do we bring in Frampton, or do we say 'well we don't have an in form ruck so we'll just bring in Ah Chee and play him there'? Because that would make about as much sense as the current selections.

'sure, GWS kicked 20 goals between their talls, but what is important is that we didn't compromise our senior selection standards'

Why did you list Houston as a tall and Broadbent as a small despite Broadbent being taller?

We don't need a tall defender more than we need a good defender. Listening to Nathan Basset a while back he said that if you are double teaming players height doesn't matter as much as ability does.

We absolutely miss Hombsch, but he is a lot shorter than Austin and Trengove.

Westhoff's going to be a busy boy. He'll have to play back when Trengove rucks, play forward when Dixon rucks and ruck when the other two are in their set positions.

No more loafing around on the wing.

Let's hope he's turned on from set go then.

Hoping in won't be the same as the disaster a couple of years ago when Hinkley brought in Jarrad Redden who was no where near fit let alone match fit.

This really worries me.

Now see, he's more than capable of that. Just like he can kick bananas from 50, on the boundary, on the run, but can't kick one from 10 out in front.

Prepare for maximum loaf.

What worries me most is we sent hartlett 185 to mitch mcgovern 191 last week and to hartletts credit and luck, not so much mitchs he pinged his string. Now something tells me that coaches are content with this and are going to continue so hartlett will go to a tall in a hope to run off them.

As for size is underated, tell me, how did clurey go against ben brown of north last year? We won the game but his leap and size absolotly killed clurey. Matter of fact clurey cant impact contests when his man bodies him or he is playing from behind and ut would be incredibly smart for them to isolate clurey and lobb who is similarly athletic to brown, one on one deep in their forward half.

So no talls coming in it would be

Hartlett to patton
Jonas to cameron
Clurey to lobb

Trengove ruck
Dixon westhoff pinch hit.
No tall forward line

Happy days

Cant wait to see just where the Hoff is playing and im sure hes thinking the same himself. Seriously we need a new coach or they have just ruled a line through this game as a loss.
