Hopefully Robbo will be right for next week because we will desperately miss his hardness, his courage and his attack on the footy!

He injured his neck in the first quarter when he couragously flew back to spoil the on coming Lloyd!! They took him to the hospital for x-rays and stuff.

What you bring in has to be better than what you drop. So I think the only real change is Cross out for Faulkner. I'm very surprised people are saying drop Sam Power - what better players are there to come into the team?

IMO

OUT: Cross, Alvey
IN: Faulkner, Gilbee

Cross would not have gotten a game in any other AFL side this weekend, and I was very surprised that the Bulldogs played him this week.

Why not?

He's been Werribees best player this year - 30 touches both weeks. He deserved his spot.
Fair enough. He was good in the Round 1 VFL game though I agree. I guess as an outsider I have though of him being down the bottom of the list of lightweight, skinny type of developing players.

Sam Power is not hitting targets. where has his so called surgical left foot gone? Even his handballs are off. What game did he play recently to deserve a senior game? Let him build his confidence for Werribee before promoting him.
Meanwhile Harris plays well for Werribee easch week and did a good job the week he played seniors and gets dropped?
If you can say Hargrave is playing as good as he was last year I think your dreaming. His height will only save him.
As for Cross, he deserved his game, but is not ready physically yet. We can't afford to carry him when we are losing.

Would it be worth trying Wiggins as the CHB this week ?
He should be able to match Jonathon Brown for pace and is at least as tall. Brown has been a little down so it might be a great match-up for Wiggins. Brown also likes to lead up the ground so it should put Wiggins into the play enough. Another player to match him for height and strength does not spring to mind unless they play Harris.

Idont see why crossy should get dropped he didnt get any ground time at all durring the bombers my changes for this week are

In Harris,Gilbo then its prob between eagle and cameron for the last spot.

Out robbo,alves,shaggy

maybe Jordy should play on Voss
or McGuinnes on one of their huge forwards:rolleyes:

we're so screwed

Youthful optomisim, good isn't it ;)

I don't think we were terrible last night, thus i can't see a lot of unrequired changes.

The obvious Alvey & Robbo with injuries, and probably Bandy.

Would like to see Faulkner come in, not sure about the others, but wouldn't drop Bowden. The forward struture with Garlick, Bowden & Skip looked good with Brown & Johnno coming in and out of the midfield. We look like a team with a plan last night, something i haven't seen in the last couple of weeks.
