Was a huge mistake to play Cox last week.

However how Blair survived also is beyond me.

Happy with the ins, Cox out for balance is fair enough too.

On Blair I could see the argument being he had chances, but didn't take them, he's a senior player give him another week etc etc. While I wouldn't have minded either Blair or Mayne being omitted realistically we don't have another obvious in.

Hope Broomhead can have a big game, it's time for him to show something at senior level.

Blair obviously does some stuff that we don't see on TV. Or Bucks is backing in the team from last week to execute better tomorrow night. Ultimately, if guys like Fasolo are going to be lazy in applying pressure inside 50, guys like Blair and Mayne will be kept around.

It will be interesting to see how the clearances go vs last week - I reckon Cox (when in the middle) had a lot to do with our dominance there with his tap work.

Realistically Blair survives because of Varcoe's suspension. There is nobody capable of being brought in; Daicos doesn't have an AFL tank yet while Brown and Kirby had injury interrupted pre-seasons so need to build fitness.

Funny board this. Once the knives are out they just keep getting sharper.
Mayne had similar stats to Blair and IMO was worse yet very little comment on him retaining his spot.

to me mayne was ok, played his role. blair just fcked things up and whilst I acknowledge his effort it isn't enough anymore.
