Unless anyone pulls up sore, I can't see Australia making any changes. Not even Lyon, really.

England, you would presume, will bring in someone for Panesar. Maybe Bresnan.

Like to see Faulkner come in for Lyon just for Perth

Offers more as a batter and i think he deserves a chance

NCN, I reckon - No Change Needed, that is. CA have announced an unchanged squad with NCN and Bollinger in Perth on standby. I'd be considering Faulkner in for Lyon, but probably go in unchanged.

Australia - No change. Unlike under Arthur players might been deemed to need a rest Boof isn't into that theory and is also a fan of the if it ain't broke don't fix mentality which means same 11.

England - Monty is a definite out and expect Bresnan to come in to replace him. Not sure what they can do with the batting though, expect that they'll leave it the same for Perth as much in the hope that Cook finds some form. so only 1 chage

In - Bresnan
OUt - Panesar

I wouldn't change the line up unless someone doesn't pull up fit.

The Cricket Australia National Selection Panel has today advised of an unchanged squad for the third Commonwealth Bank Ashes Test in Perth, starting Friday.

National Selector John Inverarity said: “The NSP have selected the same squad of 12 for the Perth Test. Another player could be added to the squad during the week pending review of conditions in Perth. Nathan Coulter-Nile and Doug Bollinger will be in Perth on standby and training with the squad for the Test match should they be required.”

Yep, no change.

Can't get enough of this pic either.

I think England have to roll the dice on Finn. The conditions will suit him, and he's arguably their most dangerous quick in non-swinging conditions. It's forecast to be 36 and sunny for the first three days. Pace and bounce will be key, not swing. Given how hot it will be, they might consider bringing in both Bresnan and Finn with Bresnan playing as a sort of all-rounder. I wouldn't have thought he's any less likely to make runs than Stokes and I reckon they will want a fourth quick in these conditions.

We have Watson and Smith as 5th and 6th bowling options, but I can still see Faulkner being squeezed in somehow.

Most settled we've been for a long time. Most batsmen are contributing (even Smith to an extent), the bowlers are contributing. We are fielding well. Definitely no need to change a winning formula.

Hughes 4th or 5th test for Rogers ?? Not out 62 at the moment

Johnson charged with making contact with Stokes. Could be banned for a match apparently.

Both apparently cleared, crazy that it even got that far there was nothing in the actual contact.

If they had both smiled and shook hands nobody would have been charged, looks like charging them was more of a rebuke for the way they both reacted to the contact than because of the contact itself.
