FORM FORM FORM...Gill had it after seven goals and went in and although not excellin g it was startling to see that how the Crows were not stagnant with lead up forwards in Gill and Moran and bingo ...5 Goals
The only form players in the SANFL are Otten and Walker so wat better time than now in the next two weeks to introduce some youth and enthusiasm on top of a squad that now has some belief in their ability...great turnaround in two weeks !!!!!

Agreed (plus Stiffy). Plus I have concerns about Radars ability to run out a game, he didn't look anywhere near his best after returning from injury the last time. Mind you, anyone ever seen Reilly play up forward before?

If dry weather forecast:
IN: Johncock, Jericho
OUT: Porps, Knights

If wet weather forecast:
IN: Johncock, Otten
OUT: Porps, Knights

Had Porps not been taken out by the navy scum, I would've dropped Douglas who is in poor form and brought Petrenko in.

In: Otten, Stiffy.

Stiffy to play up forward.

Otten to play for 3 seconds. He'll make it 5 meters in from the boundary line before coming back to the pine.

Haha :thumbsu:

I would like to see Otten coming in but I think depends if Reilly is given the go ahead or not.

I think weve dropped enough forwards to bring in defenders lately?
Douglas has done SFA since Jacky (his main competition) got injured. Debutants normally play forward anyway and Petrenko is quick, can kick the ball and most importantly is unknown to Vic clubs. Plus it would be special for any player to debut in Mcleod's 300th game.

Apart from the the 1st month of the season, IMO Goodwin has been a shadow of his former self as playing injured. Sure he had some useful moments, but not the matchwinning consistent footballer he usually is. Rest him & get him right for finals asault.

... and this weeks the time to do it.

Why is it that when Knights is playing Reilly is injured and then a few weeks latter Reilly is playing but Knights is injured. These 2 just keep on rotating in and out of our team.

They are actually the same person, noone has ever seen them at the same place at the same time before. Have you ever wondered why Knights' left foot kicking, for someone who is supposedly left footed, is so ordinary?

It all makes sense now...

Yes, I would agree that this week would be the best opportunity to rest Goodwin, but I find it hard to see the Club doing so given it's Andrew McLeod's 300th game.

The 300th could be a positive or negative re Goodwin having a rest.

Such a massive game in which McLeod will become the 'spiritual leader' due to the enormity of the occasion and his stature as a club legend. Any additional focus or motivation needed to be displayed by the teams leadership should well and truly occur this week, of all weeks, even without Goodwins absence.

Yes it would be nice if Goodwin could share the occasion but I reckon he needs a rest to prepare for finals, and an unfit Goodwin will not help us get the 4 points, which in the end is the only thing that will make McLeods 300th enjoyable.

OUT: Porplyzia, Knights, Goodwin

IN: Johncock, Otten, Walker:thumbsu::thumbsu:/Tippett:thumbsu:/Jericho:thumbsd:

I reckon this would be a good week to bring in the in-form Walker but i doubt the club will do it. In that case, I'd like to see Tippett as i do believe our forward structure to use a little more height this week. If he remains out of favour, then it may fall to Jericho as a like-for-like replacement as a mobile medium-tall forward. If it gets to that, maybe an injured Goodwin is a viable option still.
