I know you didn’t get the result you would have liked today but I seem to recall in 2016 an injury hit team travelling and losing to Freo in round 23 then taking on West Coast over there a fortnight later and getting the chocolates.

I hope you guys get some players back and give the finals one hell of a crack. All the best.

Greenwood has played in defence the last couple of games and Aish has a touch more class and finds more of the ball.

I think we have to roll the dice on Moore if he's fit. Can see Kennedy getting a hold of Madgen, with Howe/ Langdon having to cover Darling.
Would also look to play WHE on Mcgovern. Has struggled with quicker players in recent weeks and WHE has the speed and aerial ability to compete well.

I understand parvey, but if he breaks down again early we are a rotation down AGAIN. He's cost us a couple of games already this year and a final is infinitely harder to cover rotations.

Not against his inclusion but deeply worried.

For us, Cox didn’t play and now we’ll miss Scharenberg, Daicos and Crocker assuming Howe gets up and plays and then there’s Moore and Appleby also possibly missing. For the Eagles, Nic Nat and Gaff obviously missing and they’ve got Barass back but not Kennedy as yet but he looks more than likely to play. Jetta also out injured too.

Some of the 'guys that got us there' aren't going to cut it against the better sides. 'The guys that got us there' beat 1 side in the 8. They are the teams we now play.

We need Howe, Treloar etc back. If fit you don't keep better players out.

The key phrase being ‘if fit’ ... unlikely Treloar will be, Goldsack still proppy, Moore still risky... that leaves us with Howe... for Oxley

a lot of the problem with our current backline is they fail to defend the down the line ball up to the wing, and lock the ball in our forward half. It is also the reason ballantyne got out for a few out the back goals. These marks on the wing are all about players cooperating for one to block and one to mark. Oxley and Madge and Murphy arent that great at it yet, and thats why i think Goldsacks experience and positioning would be more useful
