What's this about Treloar going for scans? Will he make it for Friday? We will miss him if he doesn't and there's no one in the reserves to cover for him on current form
Hasn't trained this week. Fingers crossed just managed!

Could be a way in for Wells though?

And JDG of those lays the most tackles, really want Stephenson and Elliot to lift there defensive output. I don’t think Stephenson far off his first VFL run.

Is this based on stats? I see it the other way around. To me, Degoey needs to work on his tackling, he seems to have short arms or something. He crashes into players with the ball, but they bounce off without him being able to wrap his arms around them.

Just observation last few weeks. I’ll check and get back to you. I’ve felt the last month Degoey been the better of those defensively

Stephenson and Elliot a combined 4 tackles

That's some pretty big differentials. Midfield time might account for some of it, but not all of it. Pretty decent numbers from Jordy. I do however think that Jordy misses a lot more tackles than a bloke of his strength should. I also think that despite not running many blokes down, Stevo, WHE and Elliott apply excellent chasing pressure.

I believe Stevo was first in forward pressure in the comp last year, not sure if thats dropped off this year. Elliott started his career with big tackle games but that has certainly dropped away.. not sure what his pressure stats are like but I would be surprised if they were above average

Yeah I wish we had a swathe of injuries to stars. It really sucks that we're close to fully fit, Bodes badly. Don't worry though, Hi Jinx is on the case, he'll conjure uo a few injuries to make you happier.
I’m here for you THATSGOLD

Hopefully we won't need to rely on too many long bombs down the line. Reid has shown a capacity to work hard up the ground to provide options. Most of his 12 marks were uncontested because he was smart about his leads and simply out-worked his opponent. Wasn't as if he was battling some no-name kids either with Francis and Hartley holding down the KPD slots for the Bombers. Also impressed with his ruckwork, even on those occasions when opposed to Draper.
There you go. Written by someone who’s actually seen him play this year.

Treloar might be out too?

For f*ck's sake. I was really looking forward to this match too.

What is wrong with you at the moment? Firstly, I have bolded the appropriate word in your post.

Secondly, they will be missing Dixon, Gray, Jonas and one other who escapes me at present. Hardly something to dismiss. Injuries to us will not decide whether we win or lose when they have their own substantial ones.

As for the rest of your poosting recently Ed..has someone hacked your account?

No seriously. Up until the Cox/Reid swap I was legit looking forward to Friday night.

It is going to be a cracking game Ed...…...go and enjoy it.

I am still trying to convince my boy that going Marvel Stadium is the same as watching Endgame. :p

The Hi Jinx has spoken love it saintly hahaha.
1960 Melbourne Cup winner.

Was also the 100th (Centenary) Cup.

Not the greatest winner ever, but she at least had glory for one majestic day.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised on Friday night.

I get your angst with Reid but when I saw him drill a 50 metre pass off one step to Daicos to win us the game I thought to myself........thats the Reid I remember.

He has been good he deserved to be next cab of the rank.

Interesting times. I'll be reading your rabid praise with interest. I'm pretty intrigued by who your next targets are going to be. This year suggests to me that you've got a bit a sick of picking off the coltish easy targets like Darcy, but I'm not convinced that your powers are strong enough for a clydesdale like Mihocek (perhaps Dunn was a practice run) or the veteran stayers like Sidey and Pendles (I reckon you've been having a crack at him for years, but he keeps soldiering on).
