Mead might struggle to get his own ball but I don’t recall his direct opponent always being in the best players.Mead in again, whoever his opponent is will be in Geelongs best players.

Stability.Less than 20 posts in 5 hours since the team was announced. How's the fan engagement going
There hasn’t been fan engagement on the big footy port forum for a long time. It’s just the same people talking about the same things. Plenty of fan engagement at the games.Less than 20 posts in 5 hours since the team was announced. How's the fan engagement going
Crowd size was large but not kicking a goal for 30 minutes definitely makes the crowd quieter. Crowd engagement/conversations/interactions at the games is completely different than the majority of what’s on this forum. Less hate, more support. The garbage said about our players on here I’ve not heard at the game. Maybe when people are out with their families/mates they’re more conscious of how hypocritical they look/sound in their XXXL guernsey and their div 8 experience. The quietest Showdown crowd ever says otherwise.
Yeah I know this line has been repeated but it wasn't my experience. The roar when JHF got that last centre clearance was massive. The quietest Showdown crowd ever says otherwise.
Yeah, but up until that it was dead. The entire 'comeback' had as much excitement as a funeral, until suddenly we were 1 goal down with a min to play.Yeah I know this line has been repeated but it wasn't my experience. The roar when JHF got that last centre clearance was massive.
This is so much happy clapper crap.Crowd engagement/conversations/interactions at the games is completely different than the majority of what’s on this forum. Less hate, more support. The garbage said about our players on here I’ve not heard at the game.
Ahhhh the old " Well you haven't played AFL footy so you can't be critical of anything a professional sports team or player do ever"Crowd size was large but not kicking a goal for 30 minutes definitely makes the crowd quieter. For the record I don't personally agree with this position (though I do find it understandable). It is relevant, because for some of us Kenny just leaving isn’t enough.
Some of us want to see he and Koch driven into the dust and eating humble pie, and for it to become publicly unequivocal through a string of bad losses that not only was this handover year a monumental balls-up and mistake, so too was the decision to the keep the senior coach employed for this long in spite of the many sackable moments.
So in that case, yep bring on the losses. Josh Carr can pick us up at ground zero.
This is pretty logical - of course people are going to be more critical on an online forum as its a place for indepth analysis and debate. Do you expect people when out with their mates and families having a few beers on game day to use that time to be critical? Why would you even go to a game to do that? Its like saying why do people who sit and read books quietly in libraries end up being social when at parties?Crowd size was large but not kicking a goal for 30 minutes definitely makes the crowd quieter.
