I can't understand why. Being overlooked for bog average has been players would be tough to stomach.

Especially if you'd put your hand up by playing well in the JLT.

Can't dislose TPA but apparently so. Reward for performance is what most want to see.

Three years after taking durdin and vickers Willis in the same draft and neither of them can get a game ahead of bloody Gibson atley Hansen Thomson swallow. We had 4 debutants who were basically non performers last week and we've got blokes on here whinging that more kids are not getting a go. FMD, bring another 3 in so we can lose by 20 goals

Durdin and VW not knowing what else they have to do? Fair enough.

McKay thinking he should have the next forward opportunity? Can wait.

Preuss, Mountford or Hibberd thinking they should have had a guaranteed run regardless of last week? Not really reasonable to expect, and not what Scott said after last week's game. Younger players can expect to take turns.

Not necessarily young vs old, the players said over the pre season that most thought they had a case for a spot in the 22. It doesn't have to be bad thing with spots being battled over.

I can't see any point dropping Hibberd yet, he needs to stay in the deep end along with Jy. If Scott does this whole "lets play guys for two-three weeks and once a senior guy returns from injury or is putting out good numbers in the 2's, we'll drop them". We haven't accomplished much. Next thing we will have players like Wood starting to become senior regulars at the age of 23-24.

We need to get game time into a number of kids..... the extended bench suggests young fellas miss out again..... you must have faith in players selected taking us to a premiership?

I think the youngsters should earn their stripes and confidence through the two's and then promoted when earned but also once the draw softens.. its not gonna be easy for a 1st gamer chasing kicks v west coast, geelong, gws or footscray.

I think the youngsters should earn their stripes and confidence through the two's and then promoted when earned but also once the draw softens.. its not gonna be easy for a 1st gamer chasing kicks v west coast, geelong, gws or footscray.

This is absolutely true.... the main issue I have is the so called senior guys that we continuously complain about don't warrant selection either.....so surely we can give durdin an opportunity ahead of Hansen or Thompson...... or vickers Willis ahead of atley. Im not saying to play them all at once but you got give them exposure no matter the circumstances
