He kicked 2 goals. You're hilarious once you get fixated on something.
You're fixated on his 2 goals. Please fixate on this --- he had zero possessions in the last 3 quarters  . How that's even possible is beyond me, unless you factor in laziness and lack of effort (although he put some effort into bumping Weitering in the back , even if he pulled up). In those 3 quarters when Fog was on the field the Crows effectively had 17 players.
+
TBF he did next to nothing for 3 quarters.
Exactly!
mattymac, if he did that every game ( 2 goals, sfa next 3 quarters) he'd have 44 goals but be useless for 66 quarters.
It's not enough.
Somebody said they'd hate to see him delisted then kicking 60 goals/year for another side (maybe with a better midfield?), but I've lost patience with him.
Too talented and strong for SANFL. Too lazy and poor application for AFL.

I got my tickets about 11:05, I ended up getting Section 201 in the Western Stand.

Hopefully it's undercover !!!!
Lol
That’s my normal bay !
I’ve ended up in 305 which I don’t mind as it’s way out of any rain

He has been lazy.

Pure effort, lack of, dropped.

This would make sense if we didn't bring in a guy whose effort is even lower than Fogarty

He is basically the same as Fogarty defensively, has similar score involvements but can't kick goals himself, has worse disposal and fewer inside 50s and despite being in the ruck at times manages to offer fewer clearances and ground ball gets. And gets fewer shots on goal each match.

Everything about how he plays suggests he is no better at getting involved in the game than Fogarty, and when he does get involved is less effective

However he does mark it inside 50 0.3 times more per game and averages 1 extra contested mark so that must be it :drunk: - oh and he sometimes takes marks in the SANFL too

Player in good form in the 2s replaces player in poor form in the seniors.

It's not that hard to understand is it ??

It is when there is a mountain of evidence to suggest that Frampton has never been able to replicate his SANFL form at AFL level.

How many times do we keep needing to replay the same thing over and over again before we get it? It's a learned lesson. He's seven years into his career and it has never once been different.

If you want to drop a player don't bring in a guy that has proven to not be up to it. Play Gollant or someone like that.

And while we're at it, how about we drop some of those "players in poor form" who have played more than 50 games?

It is when the player they're bringing in is not of AFL standard.

Ultimately it doesn't matter how well Frampton does in the SANFL because he's shown on numerous occasions that he can't cut the mustard at AFL level.

From a list development point of view, his inclusion in the side is a pointless exercise.

I'm in 209. Now I'm worried about the covering. Anyone know if it is covered?

depends on which row you are in, the first couple rows, you maybe getting wet

A mountain of evidence?

Being realistic, Fog has had more opportunities that he's blown at AFL level than Frampton, and we've persevered with him.

Now he goes down to the lower level to improve his game. Frampton was asked to do that earlier this season, and having improved we've brought him back. Fog will get the same opportunity if he also goes back and improves.

I get that, but if we are looking to replace KPF with KPF then he's basically the only option.

Gollant has played what, 2 SANFL games ?? Not quite enough for mine just yet.

Frampton has bashed the door down.

No he hasn't. Fogarty has never played four games in a row at AFL level without kicking a single goal.

Frampton has had two games this year alone where he's had 5 disposals and 1 behind. Something Fogarty has never done in his career.

He was drafted in 2014! And yet seven years later he's having 5 disposal games with zero scoreboard impact. Fogarty would be absolutely crucified on here for that and he's a younger player. In fact Fogarty is being crucified on here for doing more than Frampton has ever done.

You're setting a low bar.

If it were literally anyone else in the side you'd want them dropped, but you give the gold pass to Fogarty. He didn't touch the ball for most of the game FFS.

Frampton has bashed the door down.

Very generous description of bashing the door down. He's kicked 3 goals each in back to back games. That's it.

You just have to accept that some players are too good for SANFL but fail at AFL level. Patrick Wilson for example was the same age as Frampton is now in 2019 when he was averaging 27 touches a game at SANFL level and he simply wasn't up to it when we elevated him to AFL level. Mitch Grigg similar. Jono Beech another one. All were delisted.

I would agree that we should bring him in if he was only a couple of years into his career but he isn't. He's been on lists for a long time. His scope for further improvement is extremely limited

I'm not giving him a gold pass! Just drop him for someone better than him or with the potential to be better than him! I even suggested earlier in this thread that I could stomach us bring in Tom Lynch for Fogarty. Anyone but Frampton

It's like us dropping Hamill for Mackay (as an example). Yeah okay, Hamill might deserve it, but Dmac? Really? You couldn't bring in anyone else?

Real disappointing that Himmelberg has dropped the ball this year. I think he gets sent to GWS or Collingwood for a 4th round pick at year's end.
