Because he's just a kid. Amiss has been in the system for years and still struggles. Erasmus is in his 4th year and often looks out of his depth.
If you're WC, NM, Richmond play the kids but OMac as a forward is currently miles ahead of Nicholls at AFL level. We're not rebuilding, we're pushing for a flag.
Don't think Pearce is back next week, reckon they are still going to take their time with that one. But would prefer seeing O'Mac up forward than in the backline..just don't think they would sacrifice Amiss to make that work even though it feels like he has had so many chances this year. Missed Peel yesterday, how was Sharp? Is he back in for Sydney do we think?

And In an ideal world you prob give Walker another run at peel but from all reports his running out of the game was strong and we really do need someone to lock down on papsmear.

And whilst Omac was largely ineffectual he’s was no more a liability than drapers been , plus he’s hardly had a decent crack at it this year with selection

gotta say i like this.
Duds is fine for the maverick improvisation but BB would offer more defensively up front. can stick a tackle, even on a bigger body.
our biggest issue will be Jordon tagging at least one of our mids out of the game, probably best in the comp at it rn, can even switch attention from one player to another mid game (did it well vs Port) need to be ready for this.

Interested to see where they move it to… I thought the whole reason they don’t play games at the Olympic Stadium is because it’s a terrible place to play football?
Does it go to GWS’ home ground? We’ve played there more recently than them.
I'm no expert and people can correct me but I believe they moved games away from Olympic Park because it was a terrible venue for spectators.
I would've thought that if the SCG is unfit for purpose for a one off game then the viewing experience is less important than player safety.

Yeah I don’t live in Sydney so don’t know enough about the stadiums there. Interested to see if anyone that does live there and which ground they’d suggest is better for the game?

Amiss worries me, well whoever was on the 'Flying Viking' and bringing him into the contest and/or not blocking his run at the ball was very poor. It's all the guy did.
Back on Amiss, doesn't put hands out to the ball to mark, slows down at the wrong time. In his defense, he's ignored when open and when kicked at they are some of the worst kicks ever, too high, in the ground, not to his advantage. I sense he's getting extremely frustrated and it's showing. Quite simply he needs to get off his man, I don't think his timing is good at all, wrestles too late or too early etc..

Yea there's every chance we end up 9th again. We have to win the winnables (ha ha) and at least two of the Dogs, Hawks, Pies and Lions I think. Fox Sports has us finishing 8th and playing the Dogs in an elimination final.
