It's the most compelling issue to be discussed coming from the game. Lobbe is a deadset liability. Smashed in clearances and the opposition ruck was near BOG and had a ridiculous number of hit out to advantage. We can only be thankful Dangerfield wont be on the park next week to tear us a new one.

I can't remember him being in for a centre bounce in the first quarter. Was playing off the eastern wing.Agree with this. He was totally off. It felt like he was injured or sick. Is there a stat for how much time he spent in the centre square because I noticed him coming off the half back line at ball ups a hell of a lot which I thought was odd too. If he's injured he shouldn't play.
He was destroyed all preseason, was destroyed all last year, which is why he was finally dropped... Which is also the time we went on a 5-1 winning streak. We are 1 game in m8 ffs
We don't have Ryder this year. Don't have the luxury of dropping himHe was destroyed all preseason, was destroyed all last year, which is why he was finally dropped... Which is also the time we went on a 5-1 winning streak.
It's not a new thing.
I don't gaf about the meaningless NAB Challenge or last year we are 1 game into 2016He was destroyed all preseason, was destroyed all last year, which is why he was finally dropped... Which is also the time we went on a 5-1 winning streak.

Ridiculous assumption? A 1st gamer who'd give up cm's and kilos and experience to arguably one of the top 5 ruckman in the comp who has destroyed us before evidently against Lobbe as well. I'm not knocking Howard as a player I rate the kid highly but what do you want to happen with him? You'd hazard a educated guess he'd ruck well for a quarter or 2 at best then get tired as its his 1st real AFL game. Then we are left with pinch hitters all day I'd expect Jacobs to dominate the game when that occurred. As a around the ground player Howard provides a lot more then Lobbe no doubt of that, but as the number 1 ruckman on debut in the Showdown your asking a lot of a 1st gamer.Lobbe has been destroyed in the ruck all year, every game, by chumps, and all last year. Lobbe also provides absolutely nothing around the ground, he has zero value to the team right now. At least watch Howard play before you make ridiculous assumptions. He can provide a contest in the rucks plus will do 100% more around the ground. It's an absolute no brainer that we need to make a change in that position, obvious, must be done now.

The Champion Data stats in the paper - bottom left hand corner of the table for every gameI've tried to find these stats, any idea where they can be accessed?
Schulz was quite good imoIt would be utter insanity to drop Lobbe this week. If people are really keen on Howard getting a run he should replace Schulz, not Lobbe.

Easy, just think of Eddie betts running into Tom Jonas numerous times. The thought of watching Eddie Betts run in to numerous open goals with Tom Jonas 30 metres behind make my sphincter tighten.
Schulz was quite good imo
I thought you were the ruck is an overrated position guyThe problem is that Hickey is on the lower end of rucks who Lobbe will come up against this year and he still beat him. If he'd put up that performance against a Goldstein, Sandilands, Jacobs type then no worries, but if the best thing you can say about his performance against a Tom Hickey level ruckman is 'well he was beaten but he wasn't thrashed', how badly is he going to get beaten when he comes up against an elite ruckman?
