Schofield out despite being named on the field, and being our only key position defender other than Gov who we'd probably want to be able to swing forward?

Unless he's injured, I have my doubts.

Schofield does seem a lot shorter when he is basically on his arse at every contest though...

My beef with Jake is he can't kick a footy to save himself. He is a turnover king and kicks stuff all goals. Sorry but we would get better from Ahchee in that 3rd fwd role..Personally I'd go Brander or Allen.

Yes Brander played against swans but he was 2nd fwd with Darling out. Make him 3rd fwd and he will kill it as would Oscar. They both can run they have big tanks.

And Masten well hes just a hack and has been his whole career. He was very lucky to play this season and Waterman was very lucky too as JK, Nic Nat and Rioli missed Early rounds. When JK came in Ryan and Venables had got injured so Jake kept his spot on that. Let's wait til next week and see the changes.
Venables and Petch in this week.
See what happens when we have Vardy and Oscar Allen in. Who will miss out for Darling, Kennedy and Ryan.

No like for you

Inside word on final changes (pls don't read Leon Cameron):

IN: Sheed, Vardy, Petch, Nelson
OUT: Ryan, McInnes, Ainswoth, Schofield

My source is my brother who works at the club, he's right probably 99% of the time. Annoying little turd 100% of the time.

EDIT: WC website said "poised to make at least 2 changes". I'd suggest it is more likely 3 changes with Petch missing out.
Interesting.

I maybe tough on some. But Miguel you will look like a goose if Schofield is out. Because these Sunday games they always have changes like these. Its tactics.
Now no Cameron and Patton. That does change a defensive make up.

If Venables doesnt make it this week he is not far off. The selection headaches will arise shortly. Masten was no lock in early games. He came in for injury. Just like Waterman. I can never ever see Waterman being someone capable of kicking 40 goals in a season.
Oscar Allen or Brander should command that 3rd fwd spot off him next season..They are 1st round picks. Waterman may end up a defender. Thats where i forsee his future. He maybe 19 but sometimes you can see it.

Look at Darcy Fogarty so you know what im saying. He commands the stage as a 3rd or 4th fwd. Has Waterman done that??? Im sure Brander could do that with JK and JD there too. Was thrown amongst it as 2nd fwd with Kennedy who hasnt been at full fitness.

I don't know how you define "commanding the stage" but Fogarty averages less disposals, mark and goals per game than Waterman.

Very much doubt Schofield will be an out with Barrass still being out unless the Selectors feel we don't need an additional KPD and will go smaller instead, ie Nelson?

Haha really. Goals and Goal Assists are the exact same on Average. Dont talk garbage.

Disposals and marks are less..So if you calculate that you work out that Fogarty is more efficient. Which highlights my point. Waterman is a terrible kick and turns it over.

They're not, actually. Waterman's 13 goals from 14 games is a higher average than Fogarty's 8 goals from 9 games. Ask your teacher to work it out on a calculator for you.

...or, Waterman gets more disposals because he plays further up the ground than stay-at-home forward Fogarty. Which makes the fact he averages more goals than Fogarty more impressive.

And Fogarty averages more clangers per game (from less disposals), which suggests he's more of a ball butcher, doesn't it?

Your desire to crap on one of our more promising youngsters is astounding, frankly.

More clangers off less touches and Waterman is the turnover merchant?

Love the changes, personally. Waterman a bit off the pace recently, stoked to see another debut.

Wow.

So O. Allen playing back and Gov with flexibility to do either?

With Patton out less of a need for Gov down back you would think.

Your mail suggests a bit of a scatter gun approach. Got Ryan wrong and off the mark here.
