We started off horribly today. We came back, but it just wasn't enough. Far too many poor players in the first half.

Out: Lester, Moloney(looked like he was carrying an injury still. Kept in if he isn't)
In: Golby, Black(if ready)

That's just off the top of my head. A few others might deserve to be dropped.

Not sure why people want to drop Lester he tried hard today. I would give Martin another crack. Martin has missed a lot of senior football & needs a couple of games under his belt.

I'd like to see Longer back for a game or two at the expense of Martin.

I have no idea if his ressie form warrants it, but nonetheless would like to give him another taste of seniors action before the season is out.

I personally would leave Longer out. Forward game is still not up to it and that's where he would be spending most of his time on the ground.

Pleased to hear a few people say Close went well. I wonder if we can afford to give him a taste against GWS?

Our back 6 were under siege most of the day. His run and carry is superb. Should be kept in.

O'Brien has missed a lot of footy with injuries. Thought he was solid and his defensive pressure was good.

Yeo's number 26 right? Swear I must be watching another Yeo. He wasn't great but we have to stick with him. He's an absolute weapon and one of only a couple capable of running and carrying the footy.

Also he better get a rising star nomination before the end of the season.

Yeo struggled a bit against McGuane, but that's expected given the size difference (more strength rather than height).

Yeo got pwned I thought. O'Brien didn't contribute much either.

Yeo was playing on McGuane, a terrible match up for him because we were undersized in defence. Our forward pressure has stunk all season and O'Brien was important today with 8 tackles.

love to see Close/Longer/Polec/Paps get a gig against GWS, especially at home..
with finals out of the question, wouldn't be doing anyone any harm and be great for there confidence

I'm all for testing and resting against gws.

Close deserves to debut. Polec if fit would be great.

I'd be dropping Rains, lester and obrien for golby polec and close

I feel this is the game to give the young guns a chance.

Obrian has been good and his omission should only be to give Polec a spot. Polec should be fine after the ressies game.

Lester very disappointing today. O'Brien probably deserves another run. Expect McGrath to come back in with Golby and possibly Close for Martin.
