Yeah, he's my favorite player and IMO the most talented on our list (bar Gaz in prime) but even I kinda hope we don't bring him back this year.
Just can't see it ending well. Even 3qrs in the VFL was too stressful for me.

An article on Constable early in the season had him talking about spending time over summer with Andrew Brayshaw, working on things like repeat sprints and acceleration for spreading from contests

Actually seems like he's friends all with whole Brayshaw family (just found this when checking if it was Andy)

So if we add on the Malthouse connection we have those teams & St Kilda

The Brayshaw connections are: Melbourne, Fremantle & WCE

The King connections are: St Kilda & GC, though not sure how close he was to Ben

So, Constable now has connections to 8 AFL clubs, plus Geelong who drafted him

But i think they will wait until he plays at least 2 full more games...
He is CLEARLY in our BEST 18 players by a mile.
So if he is FIT (which by all accounts just did a full preseason training block) and has played well in the VFL he is a NO BRAINER.

Burst players with special skills, a love for the physical stuff and has a lotta RUNT about him is like hens teeth.
Mark him down when September comes along if he ticks those boxes.

My understanding of the heavy training load is lots of running and repeat sprints after a normal training session.
Objective is to get the k's into the legs and taper off just before finals

We have incorporated high intensity or match replication intensity in our training for a while now

Judging by the reaction i'd say a broken arm or dislocated elbow and if thats the case its season over for him.
